Ouch....I can't even tell who that is or even the make of the car. That is DESTROYED.
Race will be live on ASN at 2:30
Can confirm it is the #23 Ford of Richard Doheny, who hit a gate after spinning on the backstretch during practice. Another picture:
Not sure who all is watching, but these restarts are amazing. Great racing.
I've been off/on watching, it's been entertaining.
My goodness, this is about to get good. Late restart, just had a wreck for the lead. Williams was leading, crashed into 3, and fell out of his car getting out. Very odd nearing the end.
Justin Hayley wins his first career race after a Green White Checkered! Fantastic race. Can't wait for DuQuoin under the lights!
Justin Haley wins, AJ Fike 2nd, #24 Unzicker finishes 3rd.
This is Haley's first career ARCA win.
So that's now he got bloody, that makes sense.... Haley with the W!
I was confused at first, but I saw a video of it shared on facebook of him falling out of his car... looked like he hit his face on his car too. Looked like it hurt.
Oh it definitely hurt lol both his face and pride I'm sure.
ARCA even getting into the throwback action.
"Could there BE any more contigs??"
Grant Enfinger trying to do a double and compete in both the Chevy Silverado 250 in the day and the General Tire GRABBER 100 on Sunday night.
With another win at Chicagoland, Chase Briscoe has the championship in the bag unless something catastrophic happens to him in the next two races.
Apparently the ARCA Home Office was destroyed in a fire: http://www.motorsport.com/arca/news/arca-headquarters-destroyed-by-fire-836704/
So If Briscoe does indeed win the Title, he will have to forfeit the Rookie title to Dalton Sargeant. ARCA Rules state you can't win both the title and rookie title in the same season. What kind of ass backwards rule is that?
That is pretty retarded. Obviously if a rookie is the Champion then they're also the Rookie of the Year
Seems like this has been a good race. Just tuned in about 10 minutes ago.
Kyle Weatherman was taken to the hospital after he ARCA braked it into a wreck. Hopefully it's nothing big, but potentially two races in a row where a driver has gotten injured in a wreck. Not good.
Separate names with a comma.
