And he likes to win, period.
You don't want to see him win, the beat him. It's that simple. If you can't then improve until you can. Just don't cry about it.
That's not how it works anymore
I've missed seeing Kyle in the 18 truck. Looking forward to what races he'll be in.
Dang. Truck series was supposed to be the bomb this year. Hopefully Kyle only runs 2-3 races like last year. Otherwise I hereby pronounce the Truck Series dead.
It's official. He's running martinsville, Charlotte, Kentucky and Bristol. Toyota will sponsor all 4 races
Well I mean Larson is going to enter the race at Martinsville too with GMS Racing. Now we know two people who will now win
I know I'm part of the 0.0000000000000009% that doesn't passionitly hate cup drivers in xfinity and truck and actually likes it, but Larson has stated multiple times that Martinsville is his worst track and that he is horrible at it and I would be shocked if he won.
I would also imagine that he is running the race for more seat time at Martinsville.
I think in 2012 Kyle Busch said he wasn't going to run in the truck series and then later that season he ran a few races so this is the second time its happened. At least he's not running in like 15 plus races which he did from 2008 to 2011 which was ridiculous and this year I bet he'll win at least twice. Back to the paint scheme I think it looks great.
For Busch, Charlotte and Kentucky are his. Larson is another story. It's not like Larson has dominated all 3 of the top series and it's not like he's a 30 time winner with a cup championship. Busch only runs the Xfinity Series and the Truck Series just because he likes winning. But as a commercial once told me, trophies are for people with self esteem issues. Case closed.
no surprise that he won lol
but seriously they should let Erik Jones race to get some experience at this track
Charlotte (Minus the link) and Bristol in August.
tfw when never buying sirius xm because of this
No winning is winning dude. He is a company owner and the biggest way to make more money to put back into his business is to win races. Plus maybe...just maybe...the fact that he has so much more seat time than pretty much anyone in Cup is paying huge dividends now, especially in the low downforce package. If Dale Jr felt like he could get in his car and win every weekend, trust me he would do it. You get the seat time, you learn and more importantly you make money for your company.
Actually Kyle said he's running four truck races to get a baseline and see where the equipment is so that he's giving his drivers the best equipment.
