I doubt this truck will run. The sides aren't the same.
After his polemic win at CTMP he added 4 races with sponsorship XD
On the other hand I agree with @ahspencer01 because the same thing happened to #32 Terry Labonte at Talladega
The rules say that the scheme has to be the same on both sides, but I wonder if that includes color? If not, it could still run.
they are running it....
Maybe the #32 last year had something to do with it being at a restrictor-plate track where spotting is more difficult and more important?
Weren't the numbers different as well?
Yes on the Hagan design they were white but on the Hendrick design they were red.
Pretty sure that was the point NASCAR had an issue with, not the scheme itself.
So sounds like they just showed up like that.
Pulling that off is impressive!
Of course they would allow it for a sponsorship deal but not a throwback/tribute. Typical NASCAR move.
If they have to choose one or the other, sponsorship should take priority over a tribute 100% of the time. But it shouldn't be a choice, they should be consistent
It's a truck, not a cup car.
Every series actually has different sets of rules on paint schemes, too.
Speaking of different sets of rules on paint schemes, that reminds me of Whelen Euro Series' #3 and #31 car from RDV Competition this season, since they ran split-side scheme for the entire season (#3 is white-black, #31 is red-black)
his right side will be soon all white when he gets the paint from the wall
