Lap 73: Gamboa to the lead off 2. Joyce to the bottom in the preferred line and his own team owner shoves him out of line! Ryan Cole to the point off 4, Bobby Farrell now on the inside. Gamboa leads the lap.
Lap 79: At the line, Joshua Hawkins and Daniel Asher slow up the pack. Harris, Gamboa, Cole, and the lapped truck of Seufert move in front of the rest. Noah Joyce is a man on a mission, switching lanes every time possible.
Lap 83: 3 TO GO: The leaders have caught Victor Souza. He shakes things up and causes lane changes. This gives Harris a small lead. Gamboa to the pits! Can they not make it? Or is he suffering from the other problems of Coleman Racing?

After a long extension to the race weekend, DJ Harris pulled off the victory in an exciting 85 lap race at Talladega. This came in a race plagued by the outside retaining wall, which many drivers snagged throughout the course of the race, including Harris. Harris' crew was able to get him out of the pits quickly today, and many saves by Harris got him to victory lane. Coleman Racing dominated early, but was ruined late by mechanical issues. This is DJ Harris' first ever win in the SRD Truck Series, and the SRD Offline League. Full results are below.
"4th place finish, and we move into the top 10 in points. Awesome day. Wish we could've gotten the win but we didn't have any help near the end. Still happy with a top 5. On to another superspeedway next week at Auto Club."
After Crossing the Line: Harris: HELL YEAH BOYS THANK YOU! YES YES YES! FIRST WIN YEAH BABY! CC (Dad): I'm proud of you son, awesome job today. Now come down here to Victory Lane and celebrate. Harris: Shit, I'm too young to get drunk, haha. Well, looks like it's Pepsi tonight! Dad: Well, I guess it is.
Post Race Interview:
REPORTER: I'm here with D.J. Harris, and man, what a race. First career win in the SRD CWS Truck Series, and also a first career win in any of the leagues. Tell us what went through your mind when you caught Souza.
HARRIS: Well, I took the lead away with what, 3 to go? And I had to look back to make sure of where everyone else was. It still hasn't sunk in that I won the race. We've had such great runs in the past, but today we capitalized on one of my favourite tracks. I ultimately want to thank Pepsi for making such a leap and putting their money into my truck for the whole season. I also have to thank DC Shoes, Hewlett-Packard, Tim Horton's and all of my other sponsors that also put their funding in to make this all possible.
REPORTER: And we will let you celebrate with your team. Congratulations D.J., good work out there and we will see you in Auto Club next week.
HARRIS: Thanks a lot guys.
Such a great truck. Can't thank everyone enough. Time to knock back some Pepsi!
