I totally forgot they were back in town this weekend.. crazy race I'm guessing from this thread?
Crazy unnecessary pack racing.
I'm so damn happy that Graham won but also so damn sad that Hinch didn't.
I feel you Hinch. I feel you
Well the finish was 0.008 so you missed somethin
I only saw the lap 20 laps but my goodness, that was intense, thrilling, and scary. Congrats to Graham Rahal on winning by 0.008 of a second.
MOV: 0.008. Holy Shit.
Hot damn, that's excellent!
Yes the race was exciting. Yes no one got hurt seriously. But IndyCar should never have pack racing on this narrow of a track. Plus you have drivers out there that think they're at Talladega in a Cup car beating and banging and bump drafting in a car with no fenders. I'm looking at you Rahal. It's going to end badly again if they're not careful. I'm not dissing the show. The show was crazy. I just don't want our drivers to get hurt.
'least everyone watching knows that our hearts are working. I mean.. I think mine skipped a few beats but it's working.
Paging Will Power.
God damn, these IndyCar drivers are absolutely fucking insane.
That photo finish is very similar to a lot of the Atlanta/Charlotte photo finishes in the Cup series back in the early 2000s, just with the inside winning.
Just watched those last 9 laps. All knowledge, driver codes, physical laws, etc. became out ruled during that period of time.
For a race that wasn't planned to happen until May, I think a good crowd showed up to Watkins Glen.
Well that didn't take long. A couple cars spun in the first corner on the first lap.
One of Mikhail Aleshin's tires just exploded exiting the esses. Didn't see that coming but I wonder if we'll see that again.
That was a big hit into the tire barriers on the inside exiting turn 1 for Graham Rahal. I'm glad he's okay.
My two favorite drivers in the same wreck. Yay.
At least they're okay, and Kimball didn't get a penalty, he didn't deserve one.
