Here is something cool, for those interested. NASCAR driver Timmy Hill streamed his iRacing Peak Anti-Freeze Series race at Dover earlier tonight. Skip to 13:10 in the video to watch the race from the green flag:

Am I the only one that thinks that Kevin Harvick sounds worse than a mildly damp paper towel would in the booth?

    Time for post-race facts.

This is the EIGHTH straight race where the winning driver did not lead the most laps, the longest streak since 2016-17, from the second Kansas race to the first Atlanta race. This is tied for longest streak since 2005-06.

This is the third straight week where a driver got their second career win. Other current drivers with one career win are Erik Jones, Chris Buescher, AJ Allmendinger, Regan Smith, and Trevor Bayne. Aric Almirola joins Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, and Austin Dillon as second time winners this year.

Aric Almirola joins Ricky Stenhouse Jr. as current drivers who won their first two races on superspeedways. In the 2014 Coke Zero 400, Almirola's first win, Kurt Busch also led the most laps and lost the lead on the race's last lead change.

There was no doubt that Kurt Busch had the strongest car today, and he became the first driver since Matt Kenseth in 2013 to lead either over half a Talladega race or over 100 laps in one. Kenseth also did not win that race and a driver (David Ragan) won their second career race. The last driver to do either and win the race was Jeff Gordon in 2005.

Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski have won at least one of the Talladega races every year since 2014. They have three victories apiece in that span. Logano won here in the spring.

Ford led 184 of 193 laps, the second race in a row where they have led over 90% of the laps.

39 of 40 entries finished the race. This surpasses the 37 cars that finished the 2016 fall race, which was a record for Talladega since NASCAR switched to a 40-car field. There were only 15 lead changes, the second fewest ever at the track. The fewest was 13, in 1973. David Pearson won that race.

Kurt Busch led 53 straight laps, the most at Talladega since Ernie Irvan led 58 laps in a row in the 1994 Diehard 500. That race was Jimmy Spencer's second career win, after his first at the 1994 Pepsi 400. In both of those wins, Spencer passed Irvan for the final lead change, just like Almirola has passed Busch for his first two wins.

Martin Truex Jr. finished a Talladega race for the first time since the 2016 spring race. 16 of Truex's 19 career wins are within the span of finishing these two races at Talladega.

Kurt Busch led over 100 laps in any race for the first time since the 2015 Coca-Cola 600. The last time he led 100 laps and won the race was the 2015 spring race at Richmond.

This was Stewart-Haas racing's 50th win, 1st win at Talladega, and 4th superspeedway win. This is the first time Stewart-Haas has had all four drivers win in a season, and is the first team to have four different winners since Joe Gibbs racing 2016. Gibbs won with Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin. Gibbs had done this in 2015 as well. The most recent Chevrolet team to do this was Hendrick in 2014, where Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Kasey Kahne all scored at least one win.

In three of four superspeedway races this season, the winner led only the last lap. Joey Logano led 70 laps, including the last 42, in the spring race here. Austin Dillon, Erik Jones and Aric Almirola all led only the last lap.

Also, I am working on turning this into a video each week, but my mic broke so I'm waiting on new one for now.

For the third week in a row, the winner gets his second career win (Ryan Blaney - ROVAL, Chase Elliott - Dover II, Aric Almirlola -Talladega).

That's literally the second thing @JeffJordan listed lol. :p

Adding to the fact it's the first win since Johnny Benson for #10, it is the 11th win all time for that number. Ricky Rudd won half of those races at 6. Greg Sachs and Derrike Cope also contributed. This is the first #10 win at Talladega. Out of those 11 wins, Almirola led the fewest laps to do so at 1, beating Derrike Cope's 5 laps led in his Daytona 500 win.

Also, of the three drivers to win their second race this season, Almirola is the second to do so with the same sponsor. Smithfield was the primary in both races, while Austin Dillon had Dow sponsorship for both. Meanwhile Blaney had Motorcraft/Quicklane and Pennzoil, and Chase Elliott had SunEnergy1 and NAPA.

Smithfield was not the primary for his first win, Air Force was.

Another fun fact from reddit. Today is the first time Kyle Busch has finished 26th in a Cup race and with that he has now finished in every position (1-43) in his Cup career
