It's worth noting that, as Martin Truex Jr. scored his first pure top-10 last week, that Brett Moffitt is on a similar streak. With his win at Phoenix, he has the same amount of top-5s and top-10s with a single race remaining.

Kyle Busch's first win at Phoenix came 49 wins ago - his second career win was at Phoenix, a race that was Denny Hamlin's first pole award - Hamlin finished 13th in that race, and he also finished 13th today, despite accidents in both events. To put it another way, Kyle Busch's last win at Phoenix was two reconfigurations ago. This is the second time Kyle Busch has led 117 laps in a race, the first time being at Bristol in the spring.

Kyle Busch has led over 100 laps at Phoenix 5 times, including 3 of the last 4 races. In his first win at the track, he only led 63 laps. Over the last ten races at Phoenix, he is second to Harvick in average finishing position. Harvick's AFP at Phoenix since he moved to SHR is an absurd 2.7, which includes 5 wins at the track, a top-5 in every race except for a 6th-place in the 2017 spring race, and 1105 laps led. Every time he visits Phoenix, Harvick averages about the same amount of laps led that Austin Dillon, the driver that replaced him at RCR, has led in his career.

With one race remaining, and ruling out an unprecedented exact tie at the finish line, either Jimmie Johnson or Denny Hamlin will go winless for the first time their careers. Jimmie Johnson will definitely not win multiple races in a season for the first time in his career. If Johnson does not win next week, the torch will be passed to Kyle Busch as the driver with the longest streak of seasons winning at least one race.

With Kyle Larson's third place finish today, the car numbers 42 and 48 now both have exactly 387 top-5s. Besides that null achievement, they also have the same average start (15.7). Larson's top-5 broke a tie with the car number 24, which has 386 top 5s.

With a race to go, two drivers are tied for most races finished with 33. Aric Almirola and...David Ragan. Last year's most reliable finisher was Michael McDowell, the only driver to finish 34 races. The year before the leader was Landon Cassill. Joey Logano and Greg Biffle finished every race in 2015. The adjustments to NASCAR's damaged vehicle policy is probably why this is happening.

Kyle Busch has reached 30 lead lap finishes for the first time in his career, which makes sense for what it is a career season. Kevin Harvick has accomplished this six times, and today's finish ensured the first time it happened with SHR.

The top three drivers finished in points-order for the first time since the late-spring race at Michigan.

This is the third time in four years that Busch, Harvick, and Truex Jr. are part of the final four together.
