EDITOR'S NOTE: Everything I had planned for yesterday (creating race weekend thread, along with the race threads over at the iRacing forums) didn't happen since the TV station I work at started doing wall to wall (commercial free) coverage of a massive wildfire (the Carr wildfire) that is bulldozing it's way into the city of Redding, California (about an 90 minute drive north of where I live). Roughly 100,000 people were forced to flee for their lives as a massive wall of fire (driven by the winds) swept down the forest-covered hillsides into town.

So, work ended up going nuts (non-stop coverage and TONS of video to edit in order to get on air) last night. Since I was swamped with work, I didn't get around to creating the race thread like I wanted to around 7:30 PM last night.

So for now, since I am very tired from one hell of a day at work (just got home 20 minutes ago), I am going to keep the OP somewhat barren until I wake up later today and can come back to fill in all of the details. Thank you for your understanding in this stressful time...

They are talking about rain and thunderstorms today. I hope they can get in the ARCA race.

EDIT: Real world stuff comes first. Racing can wait. Hope you get some rest. -John

End of the race had so much potential to be better. At least for Pocono there was some action unlike past times.

This was probably the first time in a few years I'm not totally pissed off about Kyle Busch winning, more like a 'meh' reaction.
