Doesn't flow very well - what the heck is going on with that hood stripe?

Wish they would've gone with the color scheme used on their Fit line:

Funny thing is the guy who does most of the Hendrick schemes we don't like was one of our own in the NR2003 community. Brendan Droppo, AKA bman1699, was an NNRacing crew member until 2008. Of course, poor guy's work was subjected to the lame-brained sponsors with no taste in design.

Yeah, he did those stellar xXxtreme Motorsports back in the day as well. The nexus still appears to be someone at Hendrick though, unless they're going though one of those brainless marketing agencies like the one that killed BK Racing's first schemes.

Bit OT though. Hope the rest of Bayne's schemes can measure up to Dave's past work.

I don't know what it is about these Fords and the Black color. It makes me stealth looking to me.

Well yeah, they have to be stealthy, because they'll be creeping around in the back next year, other than at tracks where drag ruins the car.

Looks sharp to me. Just wish that Roush/Fenway Racing could get their act together and be more competitive as an organization in 2018. Gets old seeing them be so darn mediocre (especially the #6 team) on every track outside of the plate tracks (RFR's one area of competitiveness) during this past season.

Man... I feel weird when I am in the vast minority but I loved the 2017 scheme. lol

This one looks like Jimmie Johnson's black car but just with red numbers. It's a nice design, but so many black cars, the 2017 was unique and really stood out on the track I thought.

I liked the 2017 car too, it looked cool and reflected their packaging, and all the different colors represented the different flavors.

This is OK but the 2017 scheme was better.

I'm taking this idea and running with it, hope you don't mind. It's brilliant.

As for the scheme, I personally like it a lot.

Not sure if I absetmindedly skipped past an explanation, but Performance Plus Motor Oil is real sponsorship from Kleen Products, which of course includes Safety Kleen. Kleen simply designated PPMO as the featured product, to get word to the public that its not a in-shop generic motor oil brand. Kleen wants people to understand its up to par with Valvoline and Shell. They probably should just advertise that.
