I do have some more, although they probably aren't that oddball:

Four drivers have won a race for Chip Ganassi in the Cup Series: Kyle Larson, Jamie McMurray, Sterling Marlin, and Juan Pablo Montoya. Ganassi has been a Cup owner since 2001. Five drivers have won a race for Tony Stewart in the Cup Series: Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, and Clint Bowyer. Stewart has been a Cup owner since 2009.

20 of Kyle Larson's 44 career top-fives have been second place finishes. Larson has finished 4th only twice: 2014 at Watkins Glen, and the 2018 spring race at Kansas.

Larson has led over 100 laps more than all other Chevrolet drivers combined. Despite a more successful year last year in terms of wins at this point, Larson has a higher average finish by nearly a full position.

Due to running a crap-ton of alternate paint schemes, Kyle Busch has not won in his regular yellow M&M's paint scheme since Atlanta in 2013. That was 21 Kyle Busch wins ago.

After today, Brad Keselowski has passed his old mentor Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the all-time wins list. Dale still has 50 more top fives and 98 more top tens. Dale won 3 mile and a half races his entire career, and Brad Keselowski has won 11 thus far.

Edit: On the topic of top-fives and top-tens, Ryan Blaney has an opportunity.

    Blaney has 14 top-fives.

    1 win.
    2 second place finishes.
    2 third place finishes.
    4 fourth place finishes.
    5 fifth-place finishes.

If his next top-five is a third-place finish, I'll be happy.

NASCAR races mostly on ovals. Which means two things: Cars spin faster, so there is more smoke, which also qualifies as debris, and the cars are a lot closer together than on a road course. On a road course a driver could spin, collect himself, and get back driving because he has the time to do that. NASCAR if you spin there are usually a bunch of cars coming at you.

Clearly you saw it better on tv than the actual officials at the damn track. You obviously should go run Nascar now.

Kyle Larson must have been thinking he would have won the race except they threw a caution for that meaningless driver, Denny Hamlin

To be honest, the best thing on the stage racing is, that they stopped throwing fake cautions. I really can't remember when I thought the last time...man why is there a caution?

Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch have now lead laps in 23 of 27 races this season. Kevin Harvick's average finish of 7.808 is 2nd to Kyle Busch's 7.556.
This is Kyle Busch's greatest season of his career, and so far Kevin Harvick is edging out his spectacular 2010 season, where he lead in 32 of 36 races and final average finish was 8.667 to title winner Jimmie Johnson's 12.167 average finish, and Jimmie lead in 27 of 36 races.
Kyle Busch's second best season was his title winning 2015 season, where he lead laps in 20 of his 25 races, won 5times, had 12 top 5s, and posted an average finish of 10.76.

It will be another heartbreaker if Kyle Busch and/or Kevin Harvick come up short this year. They have already put together legendary seasons this year.

Wow calm down dude. I used something called common sense. You should try it sometime. How many times in the past have drivers complained about bs cautions, well they should obviously be ignored when they do complain because with your logic because the officals "they can see it better." How does 1 complaint = me saying I should run NASCAR? You getting 2 likes with that post shows anyone against me is getting likes no matter how brain dead they are.
    That is good to hear.
Those are good points. I still would still rather they double check to make sure a caution is needed instead of the knee jerk reaction of automatically throwing it.

I'm perfectly calm and even have common sense to boot. You're the one that made 2 posts saying there was no grass or debris, not me. Did I see debris/grass on tv? Nope sure didn't. Did I not see grass/debris on tv? Nope to that one too. And neither did you on both accounts. What I didn't do and you did was assume there was nothing there.

Take the Hamlin wreck for example. Extremely easy decision to throw a caution. There is...

    - Smoke on the track, in front of competitors
    - Pieces of metal sheared off into the grass, which would affect 1. Other cars sliding into the grass if they do not throw a caution to pick it up and 2. Said piece of metal flying into the pit road area if another car hits it
    - Grass and dirt on pit road

Okay, now those are all decent reasons to throw a caution, but I'm giving the biggest one it's own space here - Hamlin's car is disabled on pit road. Hamlin has to unbuckle and exit the vehicle, and they have to move the car to the garage. You cannot have racing going on while that is in progress. That is dangerous for the driver of the wrecker, Hamlin, and other members of his crew who help.

I'm actually very superstitious when it comes to his schemes and usually have a bad feeling or just the feeling of a "meh" day when I see he's running the standard yellow scheme. When he runs schemes like the "Crunchy" green scheme from 2015 or the blue "Caramel" scheme from last year and this year, I feel good about the race beforehand. It's not always consistent, though.

    No.

Okay, so what the fuck is with the random pictures under the contig decals on the cars? I've been noticing them the past few days from pics of the Vegas race as well as Radioactive....

Some gimmick NASCAR came up with for the Playoff drivers... Kinda like the Twitter handles a few years back.

The drivers aren't even fans of it! I saw a tweet by Bubba Wallace saying something to the effect of NASCAR didn't think this thing through, to which Kyle Larson agreed.

    EDIT: Here's the tweet:

Just a heads up. I got the Richmond Pick' Em thread up tonight, but I ran out of time and was unable to get the race weekend thread for Richmond up in time before I had to leave for the night.

I will get the race weekend thread up for Richmond by tomorrow night (most likely on my dinner break at work, since a few of the computers there have Photoshop on them). Thank you for your patience!
