Remember that weather pending? Yea, Night #2 of the Texas Outlaw Nationals has been rained out and won't be rescheduled. The Outlaws will take a week off before getting back into action April 26-28 for events at Lake Ozark Speedway, Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, and Jacksonville Speedway.

Solid test and tune today almost ended bad with a loose RR on the #3 that was close to coming off. Still some work to do before the first race weekend May 3/4 in Aztec, NM.

Super Dirt Series opener was this past Saturday, and I guess it went better than expected.

Dirt tracks are extremely difficult to get smooth in the early spring months, and Can-Am is literally 15 miles from the border of Canada. Mid-April is early to race anywhere in NY, but Can-Am is ultra far north, and it literally snowed there 2 days before the race. Track wasn't perfect as evidence by the cornfield on the frontstretch, but considering the date, track location, and weather leading up to the event, I thought the surface was fine.

It rained super hard there the night before, and the infield and pits were a swamp, so much so that some of the pits were blocked off cause it was a pond. The water table was so high that any divot in the surface on the frontstretch was filled with water, almost caused a couple wrecks when guys hit it at 120+

Side note, friend is on Larry Wight's team. Smacked a tire lap 1 turn 1, replaced the entire front end (literally everything but the RF shock and spring) in the pits under yellow. They came back out on lap 9, but they had only ran one lap under green. SDS rules say you can't go a lap down under caution, so Wight was only one lap down. Got the lucky dog, drove from the tail to the top 5 before finishing 6th, not bad for going off on the tow truck on lap 1.

I've been to Delaware Speedway, but never to Georgetown surprisingly.

Well you should go to Georgetown. They don't race weekly like Delaware Speedway does. They mostly have big shows. I actually like going there better then I do Delaware Speedway or Delmar as we call it here. Lol.

Brad Sweet out dueled David Gravel in the closing laps last night at Lake Ozark Speedway, his 3rd win of the season. Sweet, who started 4th was able to click off drivers to take the lead with 36 to go, holding off a challenge from Daryn Pittman early. Sweet broke away to a straightway lead before a caution with 10 to go, the lead vanished. Gravel on the restart was able to get by on the high side, but Sweet kept with him and with 4 to go, Sweet swung around the bottom and while Gravel didn't give up, Sweet saw the twin checkers first.

    Lake Ozark Top 5
    1. Brad Sweet
    2. David Gravel
    3. Donny Schatz
    4. Shane Stewart
    5. Daryn Pittman

The Outlaws are back in action tonight for night 2 of 3 this weekend, tonight at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO.

The Outlaws get through the Fast Pass Dash before the rains come just as the B Main were about to begin at Jacksonville Speedway, forcing the postponement of the remainder of the event to a later date TBD. The Outlaws will be back in action next Friday and Saturday at Riverside International Raceway in West Memphis, AR & the following night at Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN.

Second verse same as the first. Tonight's event at Tri State Speedway has been rained out and will look to be rescheduled for later this season. Of the 24 races scheduled so far, this is the series 11th cancelation/postponement of the season. The series moves on to hopefully some drier and better weather at the famed Eldora Speedway for #LetsRaceTwo May 10th and 11th.

The World of Outlaws have rescheduled two of their previous rainouts, Jacksonville Speedway & Tri State Speedway for later this year. Jacksonville will be run 9/25 as an entirely new race, with Aaron Reutzels new track record of 10.028 seconds standing it's ground and Tri State has been rescheduled for 10/13.

Hopefully Dave Darland isn't too banged up after his flip last night in the USAC race at Eldora. I know his family already stated that he was okay and resting at home but not planning to race today.

Score 1 for the PA Posse, Lance Dewease held off a hard charging Ryan Smith to win tonights 35 lap Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA. Dewease made the pass on David Gravel as the two battled with lap traffic, with Gravel missing the corner and Dewease sneaking under with just over 15 laps to go. Two late cautions late in the going made things interesting, especially as Ryan Smith made his way from starting 12th, to restarting 4th and quickly taking 2nd on the final restart, but just couldn't catch Lance as he scores his 16th career World Of Outlaws victory.

    Gettysburg Clash TOP 5
    1. Lance Dewease
    2. Ryan Smith
    3. David Gravel
    4. Brad Sweet

The Outlaws continue their invasion of the northeast this Friday as they tackle Williams Grove Speedway for the Morgan Cup both Friday and Saturday in Mechanicsburg,PA, followed by a trip to Weedsport, NY and the Weedsport Speedway for the Empire State Challenge Sunday Evening.

Afternoon rains forces the cancelation of tonight's Empire State Challenge at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, NY. The Outlaws will be back in action Tuesday night as the Outlaws tackle the 3/8 configuration of Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, NJ for the first time in 16 years and the only NJ stop on the schedule.

    I'll be there
