I could see Roush drop-kicking Bayne a year early and picking him up, if they don't go with Kenseth in that event. personally I'd like to see the #26 come back.

Based on the relationship McMurray had with Roush Racing back in the day, I doubt that's happening anytime soon.

I'm not sure McMurray deserves a cup ride. He's been one of my favorites for a while but there's such a talent logjam in NXS I feel like one of them deserves a seat at an established team. You could make an argument for Christopher Bell or Daniel Hemric joining Cup next year, and drivers like Cole Custer, John Hunter Nemechek, and Austin Cindric joining in a few years.

Interesting rumors/predictions in this....A few of the highlights:

    -Preece to the 47
-Hemric to the 95, or Suarez to the 95 to make room for Truex at JGR
    -Kahne to the 6
    -Bayne to JRM with Advocare
-Gragson is deep in the running to replace Sadler

JGR ain't gonna get rid of Suarez this early in his career, especially when he's bringing in big sponsorship dollars from Arris. I'm sure Truex is happy where he is at Furniture Row as well and will extend his contract there.

Kahne to the #6? Interesting move there should it happen. Upside is he'd be going in arguably "better" equipment. Downside is that it's Roush.

I don't know about Preece to the #47, but considering 'Dinger's relationship with JTGDR, I doubt he'll be there after this year is over.

Bayne to JRM is probably the most likely scenario presented in that article. Jr Motorsports seems to be the place to go if you're:
    1. A Cup Series washout
    2. A Hendrick Pipeline driver
    or 3. Elliott Sadler

Kahne would run the same at Roush as he did with LFR and those last 3 seasons at Hendrick. Bayne would be a good fit at JRM. I could also see Gragson shocking the world and going to JRM, that is if Bell stays in XFinity in 2019.

I could see McMurray going to the 47 car considering that Kurt will probably take over the 1 car.

Hadn't thought of that. I bet McMurray would have a lot of good runs in the 47

i could see Bayne at RCR in the Xfinity Series as well if Advocare follows (Advocare did have a relationship with RCR in 12 and title in 13)...

If it is true... I hope Ganassi grabs the #40 car number for Kurt Busch.

if he is adamant about not signing he's in.... JGR might be hurting if Bell leaves and Preece leaves

JGR ain't losing Bell. I think Bell is the next Jones. They've seen all the talent that's left them, and they made damn sure they didn't let go of Jones, and I guarantee they do the same with Bell.

Advocare has also been on JRM cars before.

Bayne to JRM is a good fit to me. In a sense it kind of reunites Bayne with the Earnhardt family since Bayne started out as a DEI development driver in the Camping World Series before the merger with Chip Ganassi.

It would give Bayne a chance to perform in top-tier equipment, and he's already got sponsorship backing him up with Advocare. If all goes well, I think Bayne is still young enough to make another run at the Cup Series. You can't really be a Cup Series washout if you haven't been given a good enough opportunity to perform in Cup. Wood Brothers Racing was still on the way back up when Bayne was there, and we've all seen what Roush Fenway Racing has been like since Bayne started full-time there in 2015.
