Well nobody can say it was just dumb luck she won a race becasue now she has 2. I wonder how far she will go in her career and if she does make it to Truck/Xfinity if it will go somewhere. I've been surprised by the amount of female drivers in Truck/Xfinity this year. I don't know if the reason we are starting to see more becasue the era of Danica inspired more to try racing or it is just a coincidence.

Either way its cool, as long as whoever is in the car can actually be competitive then it doesn't matter who as long as they can legally race and actually can back up however they got there on the track. I know many hated Danica but she had her moments and some races was actually doing well, then by no fault of her own a wreck happened and she unfortunately got caught up in it. I don't know if we will ever see a female driver win a Monster Cup race but maybe one of these rising stars actually has the talent to do it. Nascar fans overall seem pretty cool with female drivers, like when Danica was winning the fan vote for All Star races, you'd think by people looking on the outside of our sport we are just sexist rednecks but thats simply false. We love see new drivers who are unique be able to overcome and do well.

    Some things I never understood:

Why did they show the Fox graphics and no commentary? When they do the driver interviews there is absolutely no audio, you just get the ambient noise from the racetrack. For some of them you get the PRN commentary over it.

Not sure, bud. It's nice to see NASCAR uploading all of the practice and qualifying sessions on Youtube within hours of them happening, but I really don't know why there is no NASCAR on FOX commentary or audio for interviews.

This is Joey Logano's 22nd victory, and first at Penske without Shell as a co-primary sponsor. Logano has won with 3 different primary sponsors - Home Depot. Shell-Pennzoil, and Pennzoil. Teammate Keselowski has won with 7. Clint Bowyer, always an anomaly, has won with 6 different sponsors despite only 10 wins.

The last time three consecutive races had this narrow a margin of victory (less than .300 of a second) included the 2010 Phoenix, Texas, and Talladega spring races won by Newman, Hamlin, and Harvick. This was also the last time three consecutive races had a margin of victory under .200 of a second.

Despite what has already been a better year, showing more speed, RCR has failed to record a lead-lap finish this season in 7 combined starts. Ryan Blaney has also failed to record a lead-lap finish due to issues in each race, but Penske has won two of three races.

William Byron has led all of Hendrick's laps this season, and has exceeded his total laps led from 2018.

Some surprises early on. Stenhouse 7th, while JJ is 17th and both RCR cars are struggling bad despite showing speed in practice and qualifying. Hemric is one spot behind Corey LaJoie in 29th. It'll be interesting to see how things look about 10 races in.

I was expecting we'd see a bit more action. Not a single caution all race long the race went by real fast.

I thought the race was great. TV almost couldn't keep up with all the action on the track.

Something that always frustrates me was when Larry Mac says "We should start seeing green flag pit stops in the next 2-3 laps", then it cuts to commercial. Every time.

I definitely agree with the video mostly. I still need to see more races with the new package to really determine if its better or not.
