We were set to go back green but it appears as both Mike Ehresman and Jason Blanford had some sort of engine issues. Ehresman stopped on track which resulted in the pace truck turning it's lights back on for another lap. Both have retired.
Lap 7 (Green Flag): Green flag for Cary Rogers, hopefully that early yellow will teach the field a little patience... great jump there for the 99 and 47, the rest of the field lagging back a bit on the up-to-speed lap. Might have had something to do with the lapped trucks of Franklin and Maulana.
Good number of trucks off pace after that wreck, we're now seeing a few guys with more damage than we expected. Craigo, Farrell, Fogg, Fiorentini, Hooper, Root, Remington, and J.R. Franklin rears the field way down on power.
Lap 11 (Lead Change): Ryan Wayne makes the move on the bottom under Cary Rogers, he'll get the position as Robert Kurz follows. Robert Lillie is getting swallowed up by the pack, caught on the outside he's fallen back to eighth right now.
They get through fine, English wins that battle on the bottom now running third. The main pack consists of about 15 trucks with a couple stragglers in the likes of Maulana and Scheidly hanging back while holding on to the draft.
Lap 13: The leaders have caught the slow truck of Franklin, everyone on the bottom scatters and that lane is virtually blocked. Mahoney and Kurz make some contact trying to avoid the 95, both keep it straight.
Just like that the main pack is broken up back to single file. Sean English gets a shove from Cary Rogers to the lead as they go past Ryan Wayne. Everett Lintz and Cody Llamas run there in fourth and fifth, then we have a pretty nice gap until we reach Ben Althen in sixth just ahead of Sebastian Ruiz, Robert Kurz, and Joe Kraus.
