Lap 14: Wayne goes right back to the lead, Althen and his group have easily caught the pack and are right back into the mix. D.J. Harris and Devin Mahoney fell outside the top ten after getting caught behind Franklin, they've teamed up and are on the move back to the front group.

Lap 16: The leaders have caught yet another slow truck, this seems like it will be a common occurance today. This time it's Josh Remington getting caught in front of Ryan Wayne. That opens the door for Robert Kurz to go for the lead with Sean English in tow.

Lap 18: All three of these guys, Scheidly, Harris, and Peterson, were involved in that wreck on lap two, now they're fighting for seventh!

Lap 19: Lapped traffic GALORE. J.R. Franklin caught again and Ryan Wayne losing a number of spots... again. The leaders also coming up on Fogg, Fiorentini, and Root.

Lap 20: Hooper and Craigo the next two to break up the pack, English leads. Only about 20 trucks really seem competitive now, Ehresman and Blanford still the only two out of the race... Man I wish I had a DQ button to remove trucks that don't meet minimum.

Lap 22: No matter how many times someone messes up the pack they slowly group back up. Texas World really is an interesting track, a Talladega feel when they're are three-wide for ten rows and more of a Michigan feel once they spread out.

Oh no! The 47 of Robert Lillie goes up in smoke! What a shame, he was really putting together a nice looking run so far tonight. Cary Rogers dips to pit road for what appears to be a scheduled stop.

Lap 28: As we cycle through green flag stops Robert Kurz is our leader just ahead of Ryan Wayne, then we see a pretty large gap back to English, Caudill, Harris, and Thomas.

We're hearing back from the garage it was a Camshaft issue on the 47 truck. Strangely enough Tim Kunkel has just pulled off track and went straight to the garage.

Lap 35 (End Stage): Dakota Caudill will just barely edge out Sean English to win the opening stage of the race! Full field rundown coming momentarily.. a lot happened just before that yellow.

Ok, not really A LOT happened but I got surprised, teammates Hooper and Fogg both bring their trucks to the garage right before the break. Hooper with suspension issues and a header the problem for Fogg.
