Sergio Perez has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the race at Silverstone. [EDIT]: Replacement driver selection appears to be up in the air; Esteban Gutierrez, one of RP's reserve drivers, does not have experience in this generation of F1 car but is still making the trip to England.

Motorsport.com reports their preferred choice is none other than Hulk, who spent four years with the team under the Force India banner.

Hulk cleared COVID protocols just in time for FP1, placing 8th, a half second off of teammate Stroll (3rd). If he can close the gap through the next few sessions, a podium could certainly be within reach.

F1 has revealed the rest of their 17 race calendar. Turkey will join the schedule for the first time since 2011. The season is set to end in mid-December.
Also of note, there will be 2 races in Bahrain. The layout to be used in the second race is still TBD.

Contrary to what is said in the previous article about F1's 17 race schedule, they announced that they will use the Bahrain 'oval' layout for the second of the 2 races at Bahrain.

F1 anticipates around 55 second qualifying laps and 60 second race laps making it one of the shortest laps in series history.

Gasly, the guy that kicked ass in Toro Rosso in 2018, got bumped to Red Bull in 2019, then demoted back to Toro Rosso a third of the way through the season. Then got his first podium (2nd by the way) after being demoted and now a win this season, STILL with Toro Rosso (Alpha Tauri). I like Alex Albon but RB way jumped the gun on pushing him back. Or maybe that ended up being the best thing for him, who knows. It'll make a great episode of Drive to Survive next year either way.

In case anyone missed it - Pierre Gasly became the first non-Ferrari/Mercedes/RBR driver to win a GP since Kimi did it with Lotus in 2013.
Additionally, it was the first time since Hungary 2012 that no Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari drivers stood on the podium. Just a crazy race all around.

And I loved every second of it. What. A. Race.

Does the family still have ownership/control over 'Williams Heritage'?

I'm not sure, they sounded like the name will stay, but beyond that I'm not sure. They asked Claire Williams (team principle) to stay, but she said she didn't want to work for someone that wasn't family.

Yeah, that just means he was the first car to retire. In F1, if you aren't Mercedez, Ferrari, or Red Bull, you probably aren't going to win. To add to that Alpha Tauri is usually toward the back of the mid field. If a guy like Gasly is going to do well at Alpha Tauri, he is lucky to beat out teams like Renault and McLaren. A podium is a pipe dream for Alpha Tauri, and Gasly has earned two already, one of them being a race win. The only other podiums in the team's entire history was Kvyat with 3rd last year and Vettel with a win all the way back in 2008.

Well, with the way things are going this year.
Agreed, but Leclerc has had a few strong finishes despite Ferrari's troubles this year. In all fairness, Ferrari falling off this year has opened the door for mid pack teams to get better finishes than usual.
