With the 37 finishing 5-10 places better every weekend it was only a matter of time.

On a serious note, I had a feeling this would happen with how badly that #47 team has been performing for the most part this season. AJ has had a rough season and outside of a few moments where he had some good runs going, the results have not been where I think AJ or the team expected them to be.

Hopefully he finds a more competitive ride in either NASCAR (lower series, since I don't see him getting a solid competitive ride in the Cup Series in 2019 without a lot of sponsorship) or back in the open wheel/road racing where his talents on road courses can shine.

Just food for thought, the 37's average finish this year is 21.4, and the #47s is 23.0. Buescher has top 10s at both Daytonas and so does Dinger, but Dinger got an additional top 10 at Martinsville. I think Buescher has more talent by far but I don't think AJ is that bad, or the issue with that team. I've always liked AJ, I hope he gets a solid Xfinity ride because I think he could easily tear it up.
