On the NTG 2011 Wallpaper page, does anyone know why Kevin Harvick's Car doesn't have Pennzoil/Shell on it?

That's because Budweiser is sponsoring Harvick next year.

Royal-Dutch Shell did not want to be associated with him in the game.

Well either that or RCR did not want to have RDS associated with him in the game.

Yeah, 4WideRacing is probably right. It's still a bummer that they won't let beer companies be sponsors in the game. But that's how it is. They have all the other nice schemes to make up for the loss. :)

It's not that they won't let Alcohol companies in the game it's that the Alcohol companies don't want to be in the game. Compared to the tobacco industry the alcohol industry is pretty "regulation-less" as far as advertising, and they don't want to attract the "heat" that tobacco companies have from the Government, so they take the high road and stay away from things that may potentially target kids such as Video Games.

the car had Pennzoil/Shell in the screen shots. Why don't they just make it all black then just like the real Budweiser scheme?

The teams have final say on what the schemes look like.

Sponsors, too. They both have the final say on the paint jobs.

When it comes down to it at the end of the day it's the teams that have the say as the teams are the ones who own the schemes. Sponsors only control their logos.

I thought this game was 2011. Why do they have Kurt in the #2?

Because they will have the 2010 cars ingame and the 2011 cars are DLC.

2011 Track updates (as in sponsors and stuff, doubt Daytona will be repaved as that isn't just a texture like nr03 it's remodeling the entire track to eliminate the current bumps & stuff), Schedule update, Driver updates, Car body updates, & livery updates will be in the form of a game patch for free in late March or early April.

Also about those complaining about alternate logos for the alcohol sponsors I guess y'all don't remember this?

I know, that's why I put seems. You are right though. We can't tell how it really is from the pictures, but I hope it's a good indication of how it'll be!

Yeah, I'm hoping so, too. I feel like sim racing fans have been let down for far too long with tons of mediocre NASCAR releases.
