Oh my god. 150 miles per hour into a non-safer barrier wall. He posted pictures of his ankle on twitter and it has swelled to the size of a tennis ball and has nasty cuts. He said that was the only thing he could show.

Ow. I don't like Keslo, but I'm glad he's alright.

Damn he hit hard, glad Kez is ok.

I was at Road Atlanta the weekend Bob Akin got killed a few years back, there are some scary places on that track.

This ought to call into question testing at non-Nascar sanctioned tracks.

Dang that was a hard hit... why was he testing at Road America in a sprint cup car anyway?

It was Road Atlanta. And they usually test there or at VIR since they can't test at any NASCAR road courses.

And yes they were testing for Watkins, thats fairly obvious.

I agree! Why NASCAR continues to have this testing ban is beyond me. They say it is to reduce cost, but as we see all the time these guys are testing, just not at safe places.

Guys are renting the "Little Rock" all the time in Rocingham to test for Martinsville and so on. These teams with money will always have an advantage. NASCAR should just have open days of testing at tracks like they did at Kentucky and outlaw all other testing.

Or they could have it like it used to be and just allow the teams to test wherever, whenever they needed to. I mean, that way seemed to work great for, what...58 years before the ban?

Like they say, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
