    I get ya, I have always been under the impression though, that they were numbered as to what they actually were. Like a coin I got at Texas is number 755/757. So I always thought I'd scored the first car produced in a batch when I read the label as 1/1500. I'd have to pull boxes out of the cupboard but I'm certain this is how the older cars were labeled, because I'm only recently starting to see the 1/1500 and not like 836/1500. I will check later though and post my findings. ;)

    Yea, But when it says 1 of 5,000 , every box has the same label and cars are not numbered, you just have 1 of 5,000. If your car does not have a serial in the back window or underneath car you will not know what number run it came out of production. Just know you have 1 of the 5,000 produced. Some labels will say " Limited Edition" and will not tell you how many that were made, unless you had a " IN " with the company that made them and they knew how many were made.

    Ah okay. I just had a look at some random boxes and they were all the same. I'd been reading it wrong the whole time. =\ lol.

    Anyone seen the half/half Jeff Gordon/Chase Elliot car? Looks pretty spiffy and I believe my missus is going to pre order it for me, not the signed version though. Should be a good transition from Jeff - Chase in my timeline display.

    Does anyone know if there is another website like the old " Go Motor Bids " to buy from with the same format? You could get some really good deals there.

    If they both get made, I think I'll pick up Buescher's Pocono win and Elliott's Sonoma K&N Pro Series win, and I am definitely picking up Stewart's Sonoma win (if he doesn't win again).

    Picked up Kurt Busch's 2016 car in a Galaxy coat and Tony Stewart's throwback at Daytona's souvenir shop for about $150 total. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow!

    Is there a custom diecast site out there that's considered "top of the line?" Looking to have some created and would like an idea on price and quality.
