    That's pretty sad. He was one of the greatest Modified drivers ever, and he was nearly inducted into Hall of Fame a few years ago.

    Not to mention that Ted Christopher, another famous Modified driver, died September 16th, 2017, roughly two years ago.

    No... RIP :(

    What a shame that he never made it into the NASCAR Hall of Fame before he passed. Think about the fact that he won 4 of those 9 championships over a period of just two years. He should have been inducted years ago.
