I have about 13 truck drivers (EDIT: 16) who want to shoot me already. One of them's my teammate, too...

Anyway, I'm enjoying the game a lot. Other than the physics model (which sucks cock), it's pretty good. I like the in-depth career mode and rivalry system. However, the spotter is literally the most useless person in the solar system. He only mentions a car near you about 5 seconds after you've cleared it.

EDIT: 26 drivers wanted to shoot me by the end of the season.

Spotter said this so often it started to grate on my nerves after only 20 minutes. Another promise they failed to keep, I'll have to add it to the ever expanding list lol

Im not sure what to say about this game other than its real shitty Physics engine, constant frame droppage, AI that can't get around slower AI......

Moral of the story, don't use mobile gaming physics for Console/PC ports.

NH2 is definitely much better than NHE from my perspective. Last year's edition was abysmal and I'm glad I didn't buy it, but this was enough of an upgrade to convince me.

I'm happy with the purchase - my serious simracing days are behind me, the wheel is collecting dust in the corner. Something I can jump in and play in the living room on the bigscreen with an Xbox controller is perfect for my needs. And that's what this is.

Hi, I have question. When I download and install Driver tool for my steering wheel (Thrustmaster Ferrari F430), will my steering wheel settings change or remain the one I have now in the other games?

I've been playing it quite a bit since it first came out. It's a solid game if you're looking for something more casual/arcade, and a crappy game if you're looking for a sim. That's about all there is to it. Some aspects are good like online and the driver roster, and some are bad like the physics. Still, it's much better than Heat Evolution in every category.

I bought the game and I'm enjoying the game. It really is a considerable improvement compared to the first game. But it's that thing: if you're looking for a clone of NR2003, forget it, this game is not for you. Now if you are looking for some other option besides the NR2003, the game pleases well!

People have said that graphics are bad and gameplay is bad. I do not agree. Of course there is plenty of room for improvement, but the graphics and gameplay are good! What is not good is physics, since the game is pulled into the arcade (so I said if you want a clone of NR2003 the game is not for you). But that does not mean it's bad, it's the way it is. I think it's because of the game engine, as they said here.

The cars and tracks are well modeled and detailed. The cars have second schemes (without being DLC). In addition to career mode, there is the championship mode that you customize the way you want it.

What I did not like was the following:
    - You can not look sideways or backwards
    - Spotter: easy easy easy easy easy easy easy easy easy easy... It´s weird!
    - The way to choose the car could be different, such as a smaller screen and with the car in straight line, rather than diagonal. Or even using pictures.

    What I liked:
    - Cars well modeled and detailed
    - Tracks well modeled and detailed
    - Damage well done
    - Easy gameplay
    - Engine sounds were good

    One thing that could have:

    - Like Codemasters F1 2017, it could have the classic mode with cars and drivers of all times running together.

Look, in my opinion, it was worth buying the game. But it's like I said: in my opinion.

I actually received the game on console now (had tested it on PC before) as compensation for helping relocate a washer/dryer and a fridge.

It can be fun, but you really, REALLY have to dumb down expectations. The driving is much improved when you actually plug in some setups.
Biggest drawback (for console): it looks like a damn PS2/early PS3 game. Jagged as hell, like AA settings aren't just 'off', it's like they never existed to the devs in the first damn place. Gives me a headache for sure.

One thing I did not find: is there a car setup?

I have the PS2 and the Nascar Heat 2002 and Heat to Daytona. No way that the graphics look like them! The cars and tracks are well modeled. Nascar Heat 2 I would say it would be a PS3+

Looks about as pixelated as the view from the hood view.
Setups are accessible from the race weekend (where you are sitting on pit road in your vehicle).

You're right. Also I noticed that the hood does not get crushed on the internal camera.

    Thanks about car setup!

Like I said, it's not bad per se, it would make a fun time killer for me and my cousin for instance to split screen and go head to head over a couple beers.
As for a sound racing game by itself.... to many drawbacks that, if I was playing by myself, I'm right back at nr2003.... and now more so with the new Camaro that was teased recently lol

I think a game like the NR2003 does not fit well on a console. I remember playing Nascar Racing from 1996 to PS1 and found it too bad because the gameplay was not user friendly compared to NR1 and 2 which was where it came from. For a console until it got good! But of course can improve, anyway...

I'm looking forward to the possible new 2018 mod! I saw the teaser, very nice! Already have a link? Where can I download, lol,:D:D joking on their topic!

Is it true that Ford will have a new car next year?

The heyday of great NASCAR games are well behind us. I'll say, having playing NHE and NH2, the latter is much better when compared to the former
