It's not really the people that want him in a cup ride, it's Bell himself: https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2...ual-cup-move-joe-gibbs-racing-xfinity-series/Yes they are. Bell doesn't need a cup ride yet, don't know why people are wanting him in a cup ride so soon.
Ah, well unfortunately he will most likely have to wait another season, their is plenty more drivers who are ready for cup too. Preece, Custer, Hemric, Allgaier, to name a few..It's not really the people that want him in a cup ride, it's Bell himself: https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2...ual-cup-move-joe-gibbs-racing-xfinity-series/
I forgot about that.... I think Sadler will remain at JRM some how which the only “top tier” ride would be RCR... but that’s Silly season for yaAdvocare has also been on JRM cars before.

Bayne to JRM is a good fit to me. In a sense it kind of reunites Bayne with the Earnhardt family since Bayne started out as a DEI development driver in the Camping World Series before the merger with Chip Ganassi.

It would give Bayne a chance to perform in top-tier equipment, and he's already got sponsorship backing him up with Advocare. If all goes well, I think Bayne is still young enough to make another run at the Cup Series. You can't really be a Cup Series washout if you haven't been given a good enough opportunity to perform in Cup. Wood Brothers Racing was still on the way back up when Bayne was there, and we've all seen what Roush Fenway Racing has been like since Bayne started full-time there in 2015.
If it's actually "earth-shattering", I'm guessing it's Truex changing teams/FRR shutting down (apparently there are rumors that's a remote possibility???), or one of Harvick or Johnson announcing retirements.I wonder what this could mean...
Probably Brett playing the horses, but that's just me. Unless a driver is retiring out of left field.I wonder what this could mean...
FERNANDO ALONSO TO NASCAR!If it's actually "earth-shattering", I'm guessing it's Truex changing teams/FRR shutting down (apparently there are rumors that's a remote possibility???), or one of Harvick or Johnson announcing retirements.
I'm going to assume these are your predictionsCup:
Kurt Busch to the #40 Monster Energy Ganassi Racing
Ryan Preece to the #37 Kroger JTG Daughtry Racing
Matt Kenseth to the #6 Roush Racing
Christopher Bell to the #95 Procore Toyota LFR
Cole Custer to the #00 Haas CNC SHR
Daniel Hemric to the #30 South Point RCR racing
Jamie Mac to the #99 Starcom Racing
Spencer Gallagher to the #23 Camaro GMS
Kasey Kahne to the #26 Camaro GMS
Landon Cassill switches from the #00 to #66
GMS signs a Techincal Alliance with Hendrick
Jimmie Johnson announces Retirement Season
Ryan Newman announces Retirement Season
Austin Cindric goes FT in the #22
Chase Briscoe goes FT in the #12
Noah Gragson goes FT in the #18
Brandon Jones goes to the #2 RCR
Brett Moffitt goes to the #20 Menards JGR
TY goes FT in the Roush #60
Chris B returns to the Roush #6
Everything stays the same at JRM
Halie Deegan gets the #18 Truck at KBM
While it would be shocking, it wouldn’t be unprecedented. Blue Max Racing won the title with Rusty in 89, and closed after 90 when he went to Penske. No idea where that rumor about FRR closing came from... but why would one of the most successful teams today (that just won the championship last year, no less) suddenly shut its doors? I definitely won't believe that until I see it.
