2001 Atlanta big one reenactment, one year later but in a different track
Sometimes, I like to deliberately get Airborne when i'm playing a Testing Session.
Huge crash at Talladega while testing for the 2017 season. As the field comes up on a couple lap cars (the #10, #26) and after a few bumps between the #11 and #35, the field stacks up and slides up into the pole sitter Ryan Hamilton. Hamilton unfortunately was the sitting duck and he got slammed into the outside wall by the cars coming up into him. Hamilton flew up into the air and went for a wild ride, involving the #17 car getting into the catch fence before coming back down on all fours. Hamilton thankfully walked away, but was unhappy after leading the most laps. He was looking for his second win in a row, unfortunately it was not his day. Jason Monahan in the #26 also got upside down, he slid down the banking and tumbled twice. Fortunately he walked away as well. It was a crazy wreck, but luckily everybody was okay. The #99 of Luke Snyder went on to win under caution.
Cars involved in this wreck: #26 Jamie McMurray, #31 Jeff Burton, #48 Jimmie Johnson, #77 Sam Hornish Jr., and #98 Paul Menard.
Catchfences doing their job sometimes:
They did a great job...specially catching the #48!
Sure ain't doing it's job for 3 of the cars.
McDowell's about to bite the turn 3 wall after clipping David Ragan.
Dave Blaney goes for a tumble.
Dan Archbald goes up and over the hood of Gus St. Pierre around the halfway point at Calder. Only half the cars survived this race and this wreck took out the most contenders, after the #51, #61, and #17 slid up across the track in turn 3 to collect numerous others.
I make slight contact with the #2 of Brad Keslowski sending us both around, getting airborne for a moment before sliding on the ground sideways on the drivers side, I then proceed to get plowed heavily by the #17 of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. sending me airborne again and then land sliding on my roof a little bit before i go back upright.
what track is that? it looks like fun
Looks like Piggzcreek Superspeedway V2.
Thanks my friend.
