FactsPersonally, I find it fun tinkering around with this. It's cool to have feature similar to Assetto Corsa's post processing in NR2003. Really, it's just another testament to how flexible and customizable NR2003 can be.
I changed the color and added vignette with a separate effect that is included in the qUINT package. All I did was change the whitebalance from neutral to something colder. MXAO is Ambient Occlusion, and I've seen other videos on these same effects in NR2003 being referred to as 'ray-tracing', although I am aware these are not specifically ray-tracing. However, the qUINT package does have a screen space reflections effect, which puts a reflection over all solid objects as if they were wet.
Overall I would say this is less as an overall enhancement or improvement to NR2003, but instead just playing around with what's possible.
