Lap 38: Woodard, Lounsberry, Corbett, Craigo, Hunter, Calhoun, and Towianski are the only takers on pit road. Joshua Micahels has climbed from his car while Tim Kunkel has driven his car back to the garage. Jason Blanford encountered an issue at some point that we were not able to catch. He is also in the garage area.

    "Its killed. Goddamn It!"

    Is it driveable?

"Its driveable to the garage, I think we had a tire going flat. I went in there and it just decided to go straight."

Lap 40: 1 to go signal given. This could be quite a mess as the lead lap cars look to pick their way through the lapped cars in an attempt to better their finish.

J.R. Franklin will restart this race in 2nd. He looks to be only the second driver to ever win back to back SRD National Series races. Brendan Peavy did it last year, and the site of the second of his back to back wins was here at Indianapolis.

Lap 41: RESTART: Adam Douglas and J.R. Franklin get the jump over the rest of the field as they head for turn 1. Will it be these two fighting for the win, or will someone like Chaser Ben Althen break out from the lapped cars and have a shot at the win? We'll find out after this 7 lap shootout at Indianapolis!

Lap 42: Adam Douglas continues to lead as both Trey Coleman and Connor Mire get in between the #53 and J.R. Franklin. Both of these cars are looking to get back on the lead lap.

Lap 43: Adam Douglas continues to run out ahead of Trey Coleman and Connor Mire. Douglas either needs to let those two cars go now, or fight to keep them behind him. If those two keep Douglas out to the outside too long, J.R. Franklin will be right there to steal the win.

Lap 44: Trey Coleman and Connor Mire get back on the lead lap and immediately start pulling away from Adam Douglas.

Douglas made the mistake of trying to fight back to the inside of Mire off into turn 3. He couldn't get there, and now J.R. Franklin is right on his back bumper.

No pressure from 3rd on back on either of these two. Ben Althen, Travis Baker, and Ryan Wayne are all locked in a battle for that 3rd spot.

Lap 45: 3 to go: Franklin looks to be content to ride around right behind leader Adam Douglas for the time being. Franklin might be saving up for a possible last lap pass.

They've got a 2.6 second gap over a battle for 3rd between Ben Althen and Ryan Wayne.

Lap 46: 2 to go: J.R Franklin to pit road! They can't make it to the end on fuel! Ben Althen, Alex Seufert, Devin Mahoney, and Josh Walton are also in.

Looks like a fuel mileage finish setting up, here. Who makes it to the end and steals the victory. Instantly, you've got to think about guys like Brendan Peavy and Connor Root who were able to stay on the lead lap after making their green flag stop. Or maybe guys like Woodard, Lounsberry, Corbett, or Craigo who came down pit road under this most recent caution.

Lap 47: WHITE FLAG: Adam Douglas leads by 3.7 seconds over Ryan Cole. D.J. Harris was the only driver to come down pit road that time by.

Lap 48: CHECKERED FLAG: Adam Douglas makes the fuel last to the end! He lets the lapped car of Ryan Wayne go, and he'll take the checkered flag! Adam Douglas wins at Indianapolis!

Everyone else was able to make it back to the checkered flag as well. Ryan Cole finishes 2nd, Travis Baker 3rd, Chaser Connor Root 4th, Scott Lounsberry 5th, Chaser Brendan Peavy 6th, Chaser Greg Woodard 7th, Chaser Jacob Craigo 8th, John Hooper Sr. 9th, and David Calhoun rounds out the top 10.

Give a call to Chaser Spencer Hunter. After getting the worst of the first caution of the day, they were able to play the pit strategy game and come home a solid 12th. Kyle Corbett was collected in that same crash. He finished just ahead of Hunter in 11th.

"Man, when you want a caution, you sure can't get one. Congrats to Travis. I think that's his first Top 5 of the season."

@DJ_on_UNSC: Of course I had to come down pit road and lose out of the top 10. I don't whether it was me or the car but I'm pissed that we can't finish high in the running order, but hey. It's fine. We are taking Cup points over National.

Brendan Gorman: Not what we needed. Had good track position early and I screwed up on a restart and in all likelihood we're gonna have a big hole to climb out of next week.
