Lap 46: Connor Mire could be the one to watch for in the closing laps of this one. Though Connor Root is leading, Mire still has his other two DK Motorsports teammates, Adam Douglas and Dakota Caudill, running in the lead pack. Both of Connor Root's teammates have run into issues. Nick Flaitz can do nothing more than just ride around in the back half of the top 20 while Scott Lounsberry is in the garage.

Lap 47: 10 to go: LEAD CHANGE: Douglas and Mahoney out of line behind Root for the lead, Mahoney also to the inside of Douglas! Devin Mahoney takes it three wide and takes over the lead off of turn 4. Connor Mire went to the middle to try to help his teammate Douglas, then tried to drop back down and pick up a push from D.J. Harris. There must be some resentment among the field directed at that #29, as Harris dropped to Mire's inside and kicked him back to the middle.

Lead pack will have to deal with the slower car of Ben Althen in the next lap or two.

"Joshua lost it by a nose, really wished he could get a win there. Our average finish position is going to drop but it'll most likely still be the best."

Sean English leads the series in both career top 5s and top 10s, but he hadn't seen victory lane since Auto Club in 2013. All of that changed tonight as he picks up his second career win in the SRD National Series.

The top 5 all finished within a tenth of a second of one another. The top 3 finished within half that time of one another.

    TOP 10
    01. 6 Sean English
    02. 25 Ryan Cole
    03. 16 Joshua Michaels
    04. 15 Tim Kunkel
    05. 18 Dakota Caudill
    06. 1 Connor Root
    07. 29 Connor Mire
    08. 74 Devin Mahoney
    09. 51 J.R. Franklin
    10. 99 D.J Harris

And where the rest of the Chasers finished...

    17 Brendan Peavy - 18th
    57 Jackson Braun - 19th
    41 Greg Woodard - 23rd -1 lap
    02 Joe Towianski - 34th - Accident
    80 Alex Seufert - 35th - Accident
    68 Spencer Hunter - 39th - Retired

The next race for the SRD National Series will be the Round of 8 Elimination Race at Watkins Glen International.

Reporter: "I'm here with Noah Joyce, driver of the #24 Krispy Kreme Chevrolet for Cole Motorsports. Noah, how are you feeling after today's race."

    Joyce: "Disappointed."

Reporter: "You started off the day really well and actually predicted that you wouldn't finish well. What do you think is the cause of these bad runs you seem to constantly have?"

    Joyce: "Lack of team support."

Reporter: "You've said that a big announcement was coming this week from your Cup team. Was the truck series expansion that big announcement or should we expect more?"

    Joyce: "No comment."

Reporter: "Will we see you at a different team next season?"

Joyce: "Yes." *shoves camera, walks away*
