4 of my top 5 picks finished in the top 5 tho. The only outlier was Kyle Busch who finished 8th. So I say it's three way.

@Keselowski2Wallace I ran the numbers. I think we're tied. Both of us would stand on 232 points on my calculations. Don't know how tiebreakers work tho.

@Keselowski2Wallace and @TheOutlaw1272 hate to burst your bubble but I may have surpassed you both my top 5 ended up at 235! My 5 collected a lot of stage points which seems to be just enough to put me over the top.

If I had one of my picks in the correct spot, I would have gotten you by 1 point. (I won Martinsville by not only having 4 of my top 5 actually finish in the top 5, but I said Kyle Busch would place 3rd, and that's how I was able to have a slim victory then.) Damn you. EDIT: We would actually tie.

    2. 15th
    3. 4th
    4. 2nd
    5. 5th

Should’ve picked Truex over Chase. Ugh! Not a win but maybe another Top 10.

Thirty-six members of the SimRacing Design community made the trek to Richmond, Virginia and submitted picks for the race weekend at Richmond Raceway. Scores for this week were all over the board, from our low score of just 113 points all the way to our winning score of 247 points, a spread of 134 points from first to last. From our thirty-six entrants, an impressive twenty-six of them managed to score more than 200 points. Of those twenty-six contenders, thirteen of them were able to take home more than 220 points. From our thirteen entrants still in the running, eight of them amassed more than 235 points. Here are our eight finalists who will battle it out between themselves for the right to hoist the hardware in Gatorade Victory Lane (in A-Z order):

MattSRD28 (SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series Commissioner)

All eight of our finalists had submitted some fantastic picks for the race weekend at Richmond, but as with each and every round of the Pick' Em Series, only one of them would be able to walk out of Richmond Raceway with the hardware. Our winner this week has been apart of this wonderful site since the early days of SimRacing Design back in 2006, and is the man who runs this awesome Pick' Em game with my assistance. With a winning score of 247 points, please join me in congratulating our very own Pick' Em Commisioner @MattSRD28 on taking home the win in the 2019 Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway SRD Pick' Em event! @MonkeyWrenCh , who took home the fabled Perfect Picks at Auto Club earlier this season, just misses out on his second win of the 2019 season with 243 points, @XxTeam48LowesXx ends up in third with 240 points, @SebaXRuiz takes home fourth with 238 points, and we have a four-way tie for fifth place between @db512, @NAlt4, @Ryan597, and @taz1458, with each of them scoring exactly 235 points.

TOP 5 TEMPLATE PICK EM ROUND RESULTS.jpg

With this win, our Pick' Em Series Commissioner has punched his ticket into the 2019 SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series Championship Playoffs that begin in September with the running of the 2019 South Point Hotel & Casino 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He picks up ten Bonus Points for taking home the win at Richmond, along with five Playoff Points that will be important once the Championship Playoffs begin.

On the rookie front, @TheOutlaw1272 once again takes home the honors of being our highest-finishing rookie contender, this time at Richmond with his ninth-place tie with @Keselowski2Wallace. With his fellow rookies finishing in the bottom half of the results, he has expanded his lead to 117 points over @Reza Maulana, who sits in second place. Bristol winner @Gravite finds himself in third, @WarMaKin is in fourth, and @TheSpeedanator remains in fifth, even after missing another race. @mtblillie sits just outside the Top-5 in the standings in sixth, @crazyboy335 is in seventh, and @Skyline along with @MWick4 find themselves at the bottom of the standings after not entering any picks this week.

It's the big 2019 Easter Bunny 500 this Sunday, and this means that outside of the kiddos racing around trying to find all of those hidden Easter eggs and candy, there will be no NASCAR races this weekend. So enjoy the weekend with friends, family, and look forward to the arrival of Avengers: Endgame when it arrives next week.

However, there is a storm brewing on the horizon, one that could take our contenders for one hell of a ride on the high banks of chaos. Next week, the SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series heads to Sweet Home Alabama for a date with the biggest, baddest, and wildest track on the NASCAR schedule. Legends say that the track might be cursed since it might have been built over an old Indian burial ground. Others will tell you that at this track, man and machine take to the skies in some of the wildest airborne crashes in NASCAR history. Some look back fondly at the days when Bill Elliott wheeled his #9 Coors Light Ford Thunderbird around this track at a mind-boggling 212.809 MPH in the era before the restrictor plate became mandatory on such racetracks, and others will tell you stories of how a single crash, known by all as "The Big One" wiped out a jaw-dropping twenty-seven cars just three laps into the 2003 Aaron's 499.

This is Talladega Superspeedway, baby....and with the new rules package in place for the two plate tracks, anything is possible as we venture into the unknown of NASCAR's first race at Talladega without a restrictor plate since the 1988 NASCAR Winston Cup Series season kicked off with the 1988 Daytona 500.
