Only time will tell if this is going to be a good game... the Mod Community for RFactor One was very disorganized and made it difficult to join a game online due to the thousands of tracks and mods. Hopefully we'll see some officially-licensed material for this game!
Yeah, I (like many here, I'm sure) have been watching development on this. A buddy of mine's bro works at image space. We saw him about a month ago and he was pretty tight lipped about it. However, we asked, "If you were stuck on a deserted island and had to choose between iRacing, NR2k3, and rFactor2, the finished version, what would it be?" He smiled coyly and said, "I would easily take rFactor2 as it is NOW over those others, no doubt. Now stop asking me". OK, so he may be a bit biased but we know him fairly well and he's definitely of a like mind with features, controls, and the like with racing sims.
