Last 2 weeks were not the greatest but I was away from home during that period so I couldn't really provide much help for @HMS88 and @TruckSeries while they tried to run Dega and Richmond. Thanks to them though for doing what they could. I've finally gotten the points updated from race 11, (was a nightmare trying to get everything right) and we might do a double header weekend running Richmond tomorrow and CTMP on Monday. We'll see how it goes though. No practice this weekend just qualifying and the race since we are behind, but everything should be back to normal to close out the season.

"We got speed this weekend, the Hoonigan Chevy felt really snug in the corner to the point where I could really diamond up the turn, we just need to stay out of trouble and I think we should have a really good shot at this."

Root #99- "Well we got literally f*%&$@. Fan the fasrest lap in Qualifying but it got disallowed, now the 99 team is starting dead last. We had so much optimism going into this weekend but so much for that.
Good qualifying runs by my teammates, hope one of them can pull a win this weekend."

JG#29: "On the pole baby! Hell yeah! That's the way to start off a race weekend! As long as I can stay up front and have good pit stops all night long, I should score a good finish, maybe even a win. I'd really love to get my first win on an oval after winning back to back at Road America in 2014 and 2015."

Lap 1: Gegner has the jump into turn 1 and will clear for the lead off of 2. Zumwalt and Kunkel racing side by side for 2nd down teh back with Ahlbrand and Scott just behind. Gegner leads lap 1 from the pole.

Lap 2: Zumwalt able to hold off Kunkel for 2nd as Zachary Scott looks for 4th into turn 3. Ahlbrand way up the track and they come off of 4 dead even for 4th and Mahoney has pulled right up to them and takes it 3 wide up the middle into turn 1!

Lap 3: Mahoney backs out of it off turn 2 and lets the 66 and 20 continue their battle. Gegner has the 21 all over him now as they put a couple car lengths on 3rd place Tim Kunkel. Ahlbrand and Scott continue to race side by side as we put 3 laps in the books.

Lap 5: Ahlbrand making the high line work right now and he edges ahead of Scott for 4th as Zumwalt takes a stab at the lead into turn 1. Gegner with good drive up off of 2 will hold on for the moment.

Lap 6: Zumwalt tries again this time in 3 and 4, the 21 quick through the center of the corner will clear the 29 and take over the race lead as they come to the line. Kunkel right there in 3rd with Ahlbrand clear for 4th and Scott in 5th.

Lap 8: Kunkel tried the bottom on Gegner but couldn't clear for 2nd and now Ahlbrand has the top shelf going as he comes up to the right rear of Kunkel. They race side by side off turn 2. Ahlbrand the only driver really making the outside work and he has the momentum off of 4 and will take over the 3rd spot from the 15.

Lap 11: Zumwalt out to a 1 second lead over Gegner as Ahlbrand starts to apply pressure to the 29. Ahlbrand switches lanes and goes to the bottom into turn 3. The 66 very good early on takes 2nd at the line. Ahlrand able to put that Ford anywhere on the track and make passes. Driver on the move so far is newcomer Connor Root. The 99 started dead last in P39 and he is already up to 25th just 11 laps in.

Lap 14: Kunkel starting to fade slightly as he gives up 4th to teammate Scott in turn 3. Devin Mahoney now the driver just behind the 15. We've had some great racing in the back half of the top 10 to this point as Mahoney, Coleman, Craigo, Harris, and DeCosta have been going at it since the drop of the green.

Lap 18: Zumwalt pulling away quickly, he's out to a 2.3 second lead over Gegner who has retaken the runner up position. Ahlbrand and Scott once again racing each other side by side only this time the 20 car is working the top side. 5th place changes hands in turn 1 as Mahoney able to get around Kunkel on the bottom.

Lap 19: Mahoney not done yet he takes it 3 wide into turn 3 with Ahlbrand and Scott. Ahlbrand has taken the 66 way up to the 3rd lane but it doesn't work out as Mahoney gets a 2 for 1 and moves into 3rd. Trey Coleman now trying to do the same as they head to the line.

Lap 21: Scott finally able to get around the 66 as he moves back into 4th. Ahlbrand and Coleman now racing side by side for 5th. Craigo has taken 7th from Kunkel and DeCosta and Harris are racing hard for 9th and 10th. No challengers so far for the 21 though as he is now out to a 3 and a quarter second lead over the 29.

Lap 25: 3rd back to 6th continues to change every lap as now Scott clears Mahoney to take back the 3rd spot. Coleman and Ahlbrand still side by side in a tug of war for 5th and 6th. Craigo and Kunkel stuck behind those 2 as they have a small gap behind them to the next group of cars.

Lap 26: Mahoney now going back on the offensive into turn 1, he gets underneath Scott for 3rd and now also inside Gegner for 2nd. The 41 again with a 2 for 1 and he clears for 2nd off turn 2. Power move for the 41 car as once again we have 3 wide into turn 3. Scott way up to the wall with Ahlbrand now in the middle and Coleman hooking the yellow line.

Lap 27: Ahlbrand up the middle will take 4th and Coleman slots in 5th as Scott drops now down to 6th. Behind him another 3 wide battle with Kunkel on the bottom, DeCosta in the middle and Craigo railing the outside. Craigo will hold on to 7th, DeCosta now up to 8th, and Kunkel back another spot to 9th.

Lap 35: Finally things have settled down from 2nd on back but so far Zumwalt has just blitzed the field. He's out to a 4 and half second lead. Mahoney now comfortably in 2nd with Gegner still 3rd, Ahlbrand 4th, Coleman 5th, Scott 6th, Craigo 7th, DeCosta 8th, and now Harris takes 9th from Kunkel who is now back to 10th.
