CR #99 "Nvm we weren't in it"
CC - "10-4"
Lap 70: Pit road opens, everyone will need fuel to make it to the end. Nick Flatiz the only driver in the wreck unable to continue and he will have to retire early from this one. Tim Kunkel's engine expired as he came to pit road so the 15 team also done early. Caudill is the new race leader off pit road with a fuel only call for the 4 car. Everyone else elected for 2 tires.
Lap 73: 1 to go for the field as we will be bunched up for the final quarter of the race. Caudill the new race leader after pit stops.
Caudill brings the field slowly down the frontstretch, waiting, waiting, waiting, green flag we are back racing!
Lap 74: Caudill not a great restart and a bunch of the lapped cars get hooked up and will pass the leader to get back on the lead lap. Now they need a caution before they get shuffled behind. Caudill comes back to the line still the leader but now with 10 cars in front of him trying to stay on the lead lap in case there is another caution.
Lap 75: 3/4 of the way done and we are back to the 3 and 4 wide racing we saw to start the race. Caudill in the thick of it is the race leader. English now in the middle trying to take over the top spot and at the line he does.
Lap 77: The lapped cars are racing very hard, I'm not sure they can keep this up much longer without another crash. English trying to make his way to clean air working the inside line but it's a log jam mid pack where he currently runs. Now he is in a SRD, Inc. sandwich as O'Reilly goes to his inside and Isaacs to his outisde. Isaacs with the advantage is the new leader at the line.
CC "Hang back in the back, not time to go racing yet. Don't want to wreck. Got the 9 behind you and he was fast earlier."
CR #99 - "ok"
Lap 80: 20 to go and Isaacs is working his way through the traffic. He is now the 5th car in line as they head into turn 1. And we have contact, 3 cars to the apron! Back up the track and now we have a big wreck in turn 2! Several cars involved! Caution is out!
"Just once I want a race that isn't complete garbage."
Looking over the replays we see the contact start between Slates and Nixon. Looks like Slates was trying to push the 79 and was just to far to the left rear and it turned the 79 down the track. Joyce right behind them turned Slates as he checked up. Slates came down the track into the inside wall and bounced back up into traffic collecting a number of cars. Those involved include Slates, Nixon, Joyce, DesRosiers, Ahlbrand, Scott, Grube, Blanford, Batson, Hooper, Llamas, Busch, and Coleman.
The crashing didn't stop there as they raced back to the line the cars that made it through came up on Hawkins who was very slow. Hawkins was all over the track and moved up blocking several cars. As they checked up to not run over the 00, Craigo hit the back of Cole and Root hit the back of Craigo. Cole and Craigo spun and collected Joyce and Gegner.
CR #99- "Sorry @TruckSeries"
Lap 81: Caudill the race leader and several drivers were able to beat him to the line to get their laps back. Pit road is open and only cars involved in the crashes come to pit road. So we'll re rack em and stack em as we close in on the finish. We'll get a restart with less than 20 to go.
Lap 84: 1 to go as we finish clean up for the 2 incidents on track. Caudill the race leader will get us back going.
Caudill down the front to the line, green flag waves and we are back underway!
Lap 85: Caudill a bit better this time gets up to speed but does not clear the inside line. Now they go 4 wide down the back as Caudill gets shuffled out as Isaacs and Lennox go to the bottom and now battle for the lead. 15 to go at the line and it's Isaacs in front by a nose over the 18.
Lap 86: Isaacs no help on the bottom now as they race through turns 1 and 2. Lennox has English on his rear bumper and they move out ahead and Lennox leads lap 86.
#94- "One day we'll leave a track without stray parts in the hauler."
Lap 87: English now pulls out of line to the inside of Lennox down the back. No one goes with him and he drops like a rock. Now O'Reilly up to the rear bumper of the 18 and he tries the same thing, he dives low this time with Hooper right on him and they go to the front. O'Reilly the leader at the line.
Lap 88: Lapped cars still out in front of the leaders but the 3 and 11 trying to change that. Hooper a hot into the rear of the 3 and O'Reilly up into clean air. Hooper still stuck back in the thick of it as we close in on the end.
Lap 90: O'Reilly in clean air has 6 lapped cars now between himself and 2nd place Hooper. They'll becoming to see 10 to go at the line. There it is, O'Reilly sees 10 fingers from the flag man. 10 to go at Outward!
Lap 92: O'Reilly hasn't been challenged but now Hooper locks bumpers with the 93 of Lounsberry. Hooper pushes himself and Lounsberry out into the front of the pack and the 93 takes over the race lead. Hooper now 2nd as we have a battle for 3rd. O'Reilly now has Ingram to his inside. Ingram with an incredible rally could take command of the points battle with a top 5 finish.
62JC: "F**king hell! What the f**k was the 25 doing?!"
62SP: "That was due to the #00 being a dumbass and blocking faster cars."
Lap 94: Lounsberry ahead of the field but O'Reilly has regrouped and gotten a line of cars on the inside. He is tucked up behind the lapped car of Harris and they have the speed as they close in on the wounded cars of Ahlbrand and Slates. They stay high and the leaders roar by on the bottom. O'Reilly ahead at the line retakes the point.
Lap 96: O'Reilly worked his way into clean air but now leaves a lane for the lapped car of Webster to get to his inside and it's DeCosta pushing the 95. DeCosta to the lead in turn 1. He has Everett and Missimer right behind him. Now DeCosta tries to go around Webster but they leave him out to dry. Everett and Missimer go to the outside and now O'Reilly has a run. To the line give it to Everett over Missimer and O'Reilly. 5 to go.
#94CC- "New leader... Lounsberry."
#94- "Don't get my hopes up. I had them crushed last night in an irreverent league at Daytona, I mean GO SCOTT!"
