This wreck started off turn 2 after Harris got loose off the corner and came down into Lounsberry. They both went off track on the back stretch and couldn't make it back in time for turn 3. They got together again and pushed up into Nixon and Scott who get taken out as a result. Both those drivers with a decent amount of damage continue on though as we go under our 3rd caution of the race. Slates the leader.

I have to cut the race into parts here. I've got to run the 400 on iRacing in a few minutes but I'll finish this up once that is over. So if I wreck it will be a small break, if I make it all 160 it will be a while but we don't have much further to go.

Lap 142: Gegner not the best restart gets beat off turn 2 by Farrell and now has the destroyed #11 coming up to his inside into 3. Caudill right there waiting in 2nd.

Lap 143: Hooper got Gegner to the outside and Caudill slides to the bottom and we have a race for the lead off turn 2. Hooper now moves Farrell up and Gegner is blocked by the 26. Give the lead to the 4 car with less than 60 to go.

Lap 145: Caudill now gets around Farrell and Hooper as well so the leader finally back in clean air. Gegner staying with Caudill as he now works his way by the 11. They have a 9 car cushion over 3rd place running Zumwalt.

Lap 146: Gegner not holding back goes for the lead into turn 1. Move the 29 back to the front as he completes the pass on Caudill.

Lap 151: 50 laps remain and Genger is pulling away. The 29 with a 1.5 second lead over Caudill. Zumwalt still in 3rd but only just. He is 4.7 behind and has a mirror full of Bob Laryson. DJ Harris rides in 5th, Flaitz up to 6th, Coleman in 7th, Ahlbrand 8th, Slates runs 9th, and Mahoney rounds out the top 10.

Lap 155: Zumwalt tagged the wall off of 2 and now drops back from 3rd to 8th down the back. That stacks up a bunch of our lead lap cars and Ahlbrand takes advantage vaulting himself up to 4th behind the 54. Coleman follows the 66 into 5th.

Lap 156: Cody Llamas to pit road with a flat right front tire. He has damage on the right side as well and the crew will repair that. Tough break for the 48 team. Up front Gegner is setting a fast pace now up to 2.3 seconds over Caudill and 6.5 over the new 3rd place runner Alikz Ahlbrand.

Lap 161: 40 to go for Gegner. The 29 trying to be the first driver this season to win more than once. He's now got a 2.9 second lead. Caudill still comfortable in 2nd with Ahlbrand still 3rd. Coleman is now 4th, Slates up to 5th, Lounsberry back into 6th, Mahoney now 7th, Harris in 8th, Laryson back to 9th, and Flaitz the top 10.

Lap 167: Gegner has it on cruise out front but he is about to catch traffic. He still has a decent lead now up to 3.6 seconds over the Dollar General #4. Update on our top 3 in points. Busch is winning that battle currently 20th and on the lead lap. Ingram is racing in 24th as the first car 1 lap down and Missimer is down in 32nd, two laps behind the leader.

Lap 169: Gegner has caught the back of the field and will have to go to work. Caudill is now 4.2 seconds behind so Gegner can take his time. Crash in turn 3! Two cars up into the wall once again right in front of the leader. Looks to be Batson and Root against the wall. Caution is out for the 4th time tonight.

Batson had just passed Root off turn 2 and as they went into 3 looks like Batson checked up more than Root anticipated and Root hit the 39 in the right rear sending them both up the track and hard into the wall. Root rides the wall but gets back on track and continues on. Batson continues as well but he will retire from the race with a lot of front end damage to the 39 machine.

Lap 171: Pit road opens, everyone should be good on fuel but what about tires? Gegner comes in and so does Caudill but 3rd place Ahlbrand stays out so he will take over the lead. Lap 175: Ahlbrand a good start clears Ingram into 1 and gets to the bottom. Coleman stuck on the outside already losing a ton of ground to the 66. Slates right behind him in 3rd and Craigo 4th.

Lap 176: 25 laps to go for Ahlbrand. He's got a 2 car buffer over Coleman who gets to the bottom along with Slates. Craigo in 4th still stuck on the outside falls further behind them.

Lap 179: Coleman clears both the 2 and 3 and now has clear track to the 66. Ahlbrand just 7 tenths ahead of his teammate as they close in on 20 to go. Slates is still 2 cars behind them and Craigo is still stuck in the outside line as more lapped cars pass him. Gegner is back up to 6th and is the first car on new tires. Will the 29 have enough time?

Lap 181: 20 to go for Ahlbrand as he crosses the line. He is faster than the 12 and is up to a 1.2 second lead. Slates has gotten around Ingram and now just has the 3 of O'Reilly between him and Coleman. Gegner is still on the move and is now 4th but has 5 cars between him and Slates.

Lap 185: Gegner to 3rd and he is closing fast. He has just 1 car between him and Coleman as they approach 15 to go. Ahlbrand comfortable out front for now with a 1.4 second cushion and no traffic ahead.

Lap 187: Gegner clears the final lapped car and he is on the rear bumper of Coleman into turn 1. They are now 2 seconds behind Ahlbrand who keeps a steady pace out front. Slates still holding down 4th as DJ Harris is now up to 5th just ahead of the 4 of Caudill.
