Work has ramped up significantly for the holiday so my painting time is drastically reduced - who wants to see this nugget released as a stand alone from the full 1997 set? ;)

Anyone know where I might find 2004 contingencies that are high enough quality to use on newer Cup00 and Cup03-05 templates?

My old ones from Masgrafix and SBR are too small and sizing them up makes them look like crud, heh.

I think 2004 contigs come with the contig sheet that is packaged with the cup03-05 templates. It should have everything from 2003-2005 in both Cup and Busch

Cheez-It was a sponsor on one my old personal liveries so I thought I'd give a shot at putting the scheme on a modern body with the updated brand logos. And I don't care if it isn't printed on the back of the packaging in like 3 inch tall letters anymore - I'm keeping the slogan on the rear! GET YOUR OWN BOX. :D

BTW, you a are using the wrong Ford Template, the one you are using is the 2003, not the 2004 which they ran IRL

Honestly - that was intentional. The SnG 2004 Ford Template has that super swept speedway nose. Looking at the cars that ran the actual race - taking the 2003 template and removing the lower grill opening gives a much closer approximation of how they appeared.

Still need to do the half-tone portions and 'bubbles' on both of these schemes but what do you think about the bases so far?

Using another computer today for these uploads - I think that's why there are so many artifacts in the jpeg for Andretti's car - I forgot to check the quality settings. In any case - here is my current spread for the finished Coke C2 cars. The 21, 29 and 97 remain.

And then there were 2...... the #97 is currently in progress and the #29 will be probably be finished up last. By any chance, does SOMEONE have access to a real life image of the #29 from the 2004 Pepsi 400? I have found "1" image of the very front of the car in the paddock on Motorsports.com and literally NOTHING else but diescasts for sale on ebay..... Even watching nearly the entire race on Youtube has netted me zero usable imagery.

I was pretty damn proud of myself for completing this one the first time around 10+ years ago - I feel no less accomplished for polishing it and completing it a second time. Love this scheme!
