1999 Jerry Nadeau - #9 Cartoon Network/ Sprint PCS/ RadioShack
Run at only a few races in the summer of '99 - this mimics the Sears Point car. Whereas some of my other recent schemes have been updates to older cars I've painted, this is actually the very first time I've ever attempted this one!

Excellent work, always been some of my favorite schemes... hope this picture helps out a little...
Guess what just came in the mail yesterday? My 1:24 scale decal sheet from the website you linked! Time to scan it and get drawing!

Great job on all the details of the CN cars, I can only imagine how patient you must be when doing the artwork.
When I was first trying to figure out the best way to recreate the character artwork it was a little rough. But I have a relatively streamlined method now. So long as I have a good clear image from like promotional/box art, a decal sheet or a straight on shot of a diecast I'm pretty well set!

Anyone following this thread have a layered template for the 2000-2002 Taurus? The one I used back in my SBR days SAYS 2000 Taurus - but the upper grill shape is more of the 2003 style.

I've got a collection of original cup templates uploaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/83ajxic0k6idj48/Original_Cup_Templates.rar/file

Your best option could be to combine the grills from Masgrafx's Taurus template and put them on the 2003 Ford template. The shading around the top grill might need a little adjusting.
Thanks for that; I think your collection pretty much mirrors my own, hah. Good call on just using the 98-99 grill on the 00-02 template - hadn't thought about that option. That'll make this car look a lot more like the actual race version.

Top is what a lot of the on-track Tauruses (Tauri?) looked like in Y2k - bottom is what our 00-03 templates had. I may have to finish tweaking this and have it available for others to use.

Little hard getting the color of this car just right.... such an odd shade of teal. I've probably changed it 4 or 5 times already. But a little closer to completion; need to finalize some of the lightning flash highlighting on the character images and finish up some of the associate sponsor decals.

Big thanks to @garrett1127 for the renders on this one - showing it off without the contigs and sponsors so you can see just how much cool stuff is hidden by them on the actual car!
