do like what dogecoin did
You do realize how much that would cost, right?
Dogecoins project was 55,000. There are a lot less of us here than on Reddit. I don't see it happening.
Is that honestly your best well thought out proposition?
While it'd be nice, it's waaaaaaay to expensive.
How does one "sponser" an acronym? What is this "sponser" thing anyway?
If my math is correct, it would take each and every member on here to donate about $8 (7,000 members, $55,000 for sponsorship). EVERY member. Counting inactive ones. I don't think it would be worth it for every member to donate almost $1o to see this website on one car for one race.
Hi guys, I work for a team on the PR/Media side of the sport. To give you all a good idea what primary sponsorship costs per race, here are legitimate estimates per series:
NCTWS - $70,000-$80,000/race
NNS - $120,000-$130,000/race
NSCS - $650,000/race
If anybody has questions, let me know. It's obviously a pretty tall order for any company, let alone an online community. The Dogecoin program was definitely not at a level the top teams operate at, but was a unique program.
See? It's only $650,000, not even a million.
We should totally do it.
Why don't we start a team that fields cars in the top three series, while we're at it.
We should be the new sponsor for the Nationwide series.
The "NASCAR Sim Racing Design Series"...... It has a nice ring to it!
Ah, hell, why don't we bring the SRD offline leagues into real life XD
