Expect the usual broadcast, full field rundowns will come every 50 laps and after pit stops on every caution. One note for the #74 of Devin Mahoney, I made a mistake and checked your John Deere scheme, so you're running that scheme this race...didn't notice it in time.
Cars come off turn 4, pace car is off, green flag is waving, we're underway at Michigan!
Lap 1: Shane Lennox gets the jump, and will be all alone up front entering turn 1. The top 5, Lennox, Hooper, James, Blanford, and Asher have all formed a line and have already gaped the field by a slight margin. Lennox leads lap 1.
Lap 2: Hooper wants the lead, he'll dive low off turn 2, and will remain side by side with Lennox through turns 3 and 4...Lennox leads at the line.
Lap 3: Hooper's car get loose in turn 1 and he has to gather it up...that allows Curtis James to pass the 11 for 2nd.
Lap 4: Three wide for 3rd, it's Asher on the inside, Blanford in the middle and Hooper up high. Blanford clears into 3rd...Asher has to let off the gas and loses all of his momentum, he'll hold on to 5th.
Lap 5: Hooper is able to get back around the 58 for the 3rd spot, Brendan Gorman takes 5th from Asher. Behind them are Orian Thomson, Joe Towianski, Zack Webster, and Kyle Missimer to round out the top 10.
Lap 6: Thompson takes 6th from Asher, and Asher is falling...Towianski takes 7th from the 1.
Lap 13: Jeremy Zumwalt cracks the top 10 with a pass on Zack Webster. Lots of 3 wide...the top 10 at the end of the lap: 11, 72, 47, 7, 5, 6, 1, 98, 21, 58.
Lap 15: The field is taking it easy right now, but Curtis James changed that with a divebomb move for the lead into turn 3...but it doenst work, and James has to get on the brakes and drop back into line.
Lap 16: James tries it again...he edged in front of Hooper, but the 11's run off the outside is enough to let him hold onto the lead.
Lap 17: The top 8 cars are under a blanket right now, it's 2 wide for the lead between Hooper and James, right behind them it's 3 wide for 3rd between Lennox, Gorman, and Towianski, the it's 3 wide for 6th between Asher, Slaughter, and Thompson.
Lap 18: The field sorts itself out, and Webster re-cracks the top 10 by passing Jason Blanford. Hooper also clears James to hold on to the top spot. Top 10 at the line: 11, 72, 7, 5, 47, 6, 98, 1, 21, 95.
Lap 19: Shane Lennox repays Curtis James from earlier, and moves him out of the way for 2nd...Gorman follows to 3rd. Jeremy Zumwalt takes 8th from Daniel Asher.
Lap 20: CAUTION - Jordan Demis attempts to block Mike Oppenheimer, but is too late and triggers a 3 car wreck between the 70, 99, and the 74 of Devin Mahoney...Oppenheimer's car briefly takes flight, lands on it's side, before landing back on all four wheels and driving away.
Jordan Demis and Devin Mahoney will retire from the event, and will finish 32nd and 33rd respectively. Mahoney can't catch a break this season so far.
