We've made our way to Motegi, Japan and the famous Twin Ring Motegi for the SRD Motegi 200. This will be the 11th race of the season, and the third of this year's International Tour.

Twin Ring Motegi is a 1.549 mile speedway located in Motegi, Japan. The track's four turns are banked at ten degrees.
    1024px-Twin_Ring_Motegi_map-2.svg.png

Last time at this oval, the future season champion, Brendan Gorman, was able to take the victory after a battle with James Gegner. This season Gorman is no longer a factor, and a large field of rookies has become one, with Jon Peterson winning just last week. The points picture has shifted. and this weekend will be one to capitalize on an oval, in this stretch of the season.

Top five in qualifying? I'll take it, because it's what we should be doing. Want to see all three CP cars up there and running near the end. Let's see if we can make it happen.

Lap 1: Green Flag- Steven Merzlak and Dominik Karda take the green flag in Japan! Karda gets off to a bad start and the inside line takes off. Ryan DeCosta looking for the lead off of 4, and they tie at the line!

Lap 2: DeCosta takes the lead into 1, but Jacob Craigo shuffles him up the track and takes the lead out of turn 2. And there's trouble! Big crash on the front straightaway, and now more crashes around the track! Yellow flag is out! Michael Peters takes the lead at the stipe, but... oh no! He came down the track, appearing to try and make Trey Coleman, who had a run on him, slow down and now Peters gets turned! He slams into the turn 1 wall, smoke pouring from his car!

Caution #1: Let's break this down into two parts for each wreck...

Incident #1: Coming off of turn 4 on lap 1, Dakota Caudill came up the track into Anthony Curtain, sending them up into the track into Andrew Burr. When Curtain came off of the wall, he came down into point leader Christopher Witmer, causing him and Ryan Wayne to spin up into traffic.

Incident #2: Racing back to the line led to Bobby Farrell, DJ Harris, Connor Root, and Ryan DeCosta taking it four wide off of turn 4. Root got turned into the wall by DeCosta, causing Harris to come down the track just so slightly that he got into Bobby Farrell, who went down and back up the track, into Harris and Jerry Towns.

Back behind them, Steven Merzlak had nowhere to go and ran into the back of Ryan DeCosta, while Kyle Missimer, from the bottom of the track, turned up into Merzlak, spinning them both down towards the wall.
    IMG_4074.JPG IMG_4075.JPG IMG_4076.JPG IMG_4077.JPG IMG_4078.JPG

A wild start to this race now has Trey Coleman as the leader. Everyone other than Brendan Peavy, Cody Llamas, Noah Joyce, Austin Spencer, and Matt O'Reilly pit. DJ Harris, Jacob Craigo, and Sean English lead the field off of pit road.

Lap 7: Green Flag- Peavy has the lead out of turn 2, but into turn 3, Austin Spencer in in his inside.

Lap 8: Spencer has the lead through turn 2, but Matt O'Reilly takes the lead down the backstraightaway. A crossover move by Craigo for the lead, English goes under him and makes it three wide! English and Craigo go spinning down the frontstretch! Yellow flag is out!
    IMG_4079.JPG

English saves it and tries to come up into traffic, Connor Root squeezes Dominik Karda and Dakota Caudill up into the wall! They go down the track and Karda flips as Root gets under him. Karda drives away, but I have no doubt that he has engine trouble after that.

Lap 14: Matt O'Reilly takes the green flag and keeps the lead down the backstraightaway. Harris takes it away off of 4.

@crazyboy335 It's a prerecorded race, never got a chance for a full field rundown. At this point I believe you were in the 23rd position.
