Welcome to Homestead, Florida and the Homestead-Miami Speedway! These SRD IndyCar drivers are making their first trip to this oval, leveling the playing field for all 33 of them. 121 laps are ahead of us to decide the winner.

Homestead-Miami Speedway is a 1.5 mile oval located in Homestead, Florida. The track reflects the art deco region of nearby Miami Beach, and is owned by the City of Homestead in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The track offers a wide racing surface and high banks, giving many passing lanes.

Just yesterday, drivers participated in the rain delayed St. Petersburg Grand Prix and have traveled across the state to participate in today's practice session and qualifying session. Ray Tustin dominated the uneventful race in St. Pete, entering this weekend on a high note. Can he capitalize and win again this weekend?

"3rd in qualifying, awesome! Now time to replicate that in the race. I'm actually surprised that I actually maintained the practice pace there."

Not a bad qualifying start after the awful practice we had. Found the speed and hope to improve during the race.

Really happy to see us pick up speed in qualifying. Practice trim wasn't great but this is a sign of progress.

    Still work to be done.

"Car was bad in practice, but our qualifying run was great. Starting P4 at a place I locked down 2 championships (and could've had a 3rd)."

Well it's looking like we'll have another Friday race. I'm so sorry guys, I really hate having to keep postponing these races.

Not the best qualifying position I feel that I really let my team down, I'm hoping that we can fight in the top 10 by the end of the race.

Homestead and Kentucky will be ran without race coverage. I was going to have coverage tonight, but a quick trip to Greensboro has left us in a traffic nightmare.

I am so sorry. I don't want the series to be like this.

    Chrasta Wins Again In Homestead
After 121 laps were all said and done in Homestead, Brandon Chrasta came out the winner for the second time this season. Leading the most laps, at 15, Chrasta was able to work the draft the best on the final lap to beat out pole sitter, Ryan DeCosta. Early accidents left Tim Johnston, Steven Merzlak, Noah Joyce, and Matt O'Reilly suffering, and they were later caught up in an accident triggered by Cody Llamas engine blowing deep in the pack. That accident also included Sean English, Ryan Wayne, and Darren Ingram. Full results can be seen below. Points will be updated in the morning.
