Q-Race 1: Tim Kunkel got the jump early but after an intense 3 lap battle the outside lane prevailed in the end and Tanner Shears was able to clear him for the lead. Shears never looked back and went on to claim the victory in the qualifier and the pole position. Meanwhile Bob Missimer ran into problems, a flat tire 2 laps in would ruin any chance of advancing out of the heats as he would finish in the 10th spot 2 laps down. Results:
24 T Shears
1 T Kunkel
98 R Maulana
55 B Althen
00 A Schieldly 62 J Craigo
45 C Rogers 30 A Torres
91 J Peterson
86 B Missimer-2
Q-Race 2: This time it was the inside line that prevailed as Brendon Hancock was able to clear Calessa English early and would go on to claim victory in the 2nd qualifier. Calessa however was able to keep her car in front of the others and come home with a 3rd place finish which will transfer her into the A-Main. Results:
12 B Hancock
88 J Hooper Sr. 2 C English
68 K Missimer
93 K Campbell
46 R Lillie 73 M Fiorentini
11 C Harmon
15 C Fuller Q-Race 3: Everett Lintz got the jump early and led into turn 1, Bleskachek tried to make it work on the outside but ultimately couldn't. Once Joyce got under Bleskachek it became a hard battle between the two, Lintz would drive away to get the win and Bleskachek would narrowly beat out Joyce for the 2nd spot. Results:
87 E Lintz
60 R Bleskachek 3 N Joyce
22 D Schramm III
9 A Seufert
4 S Merzlak 34 J Gloria
32 J Rodriguez
6 S English
Q-Race 4: The most important qualifying race without a doubt was heat race 4. Both Beard and Remington are in a position where they need to race their way in. Devin Mahoney who has the provisional on speed wants to keep his 4th place qualifying spot but would need to win the heat race to do so. However it was Levine Michaels who capitalized on a mistake by Mahoney to pass him on the outside on lap 4 and take the win. Both Beard and Remington now have to compete in the LCQ where now only one or neither of them will make the A-Main. Results: 10 L Michaels 41 D Mahoney
66 A Beard
76 J Remington
48 D Harris 10 M Wichelman
52 B Peavy 77 O Hooper
5 R McCoy
LCQ: Aaron Beard and Josh Remington went into the LCQ knowing they had to win in order to transfer to the A-Main. Devin Mahoney just had to finish but he wasn't going away that easily. Both Mahoney, Beard, and Remington fought 2 and 3 wide for the first 5 laps, Beard came out with the lead, Mahoney 2nd and Remington 3rd and losing ground on Beard. A late caution with 5 laps to go by Fiorentini set up a late restart. Beard got a great restart and was able to pull away locking up his spot in the A-Main, with Mahoney claiming the 26th and final spot on speed.
