The next stop on the SRD Late Model Challenge schedule brings us to America's heartland, Iowa Speedway. One of the fastest short tracks in America it will challenge our drivers as they battle it out for 100 laps for a chance to be the next driver to punch their ticket into the playoffs. Last week Tanner Shears put on a dominant performance to win at Myrtle Beach, however the biggest surprise was Reza Maulana who at a track where many found it hard to pass drove from 10th up to the front to challenge for the win. Can he continue that momentum this week? Or will another new name join Shears, Lintz, and Maulana as an early championship favorite?

Entry List:
00- Alex Scheidly
010- Levine Michaels
1- Tim Kunkel
2- Calessa English
3- Noah Joyce
4- Steven Merzlak

"Iowa... The last time I raced here last year in Trucks, it was a fucking mess as it turned into a demolition derby almost immediately and it didn't help I wrecked on my own later on. I'm hoping that the #98 RMR team can nail the setup here once again to keep up the strong momentum that we have showed so far in this championship."

Fiorentini: "Should be a good one for us. Just gonna try and keep it clean till the end."

5 minutes into the first session and it's the BMS teammates Levine Michaels (23.016) and Tanner Shears (23.021) running 1-2. Olivia Hooper 3rd, Remington, and Kunkel round out the top-5

Trouble turn 1!! Matt Wichelman blows a motor and slows on the track, Hancock able to slow down to avoid him, but nowhere for Alex Seufert to go, he slams into the back of Wichelman, spins in the oil and backs it hard into the wall. Caution is out with just 5 minutes left which will end the session under yellow

A bit of an accelerated weekend this time. I'm going to try and get practice 2 and qualifying in tonight with the hopes of running the race on Friday. If not it'll have to wait till next week.

Big crash turn 4!! Alex Seufert was slowing down to come back to pit road gets hit by the 1 of Tim Kunkel, they get connected and both slam into the outside wall. Nowhere for Ripley McCoy to go, he plows into Kunkel and collects Colton Harmon, as well as Levine Michaels, Charlie Fuller, and Matheus Fiorentini. Red flag is immediately thrown
