I'll give him time to respond but I'd like to throw my hat in there if he decides not to.

I'm pleased that series officials and Jacob gave me this opportunity. It will be weird driving against my team and manufacturer, but I'm going to give it the best for Jacob and CRI. I was going to start slowing down this year, but I'm busy in all three series, plus just getting off IndyCars. I'm gonna be a tired boy.

For anyone that needed extra time, congratulations! I had to work today and drive back home from Mobile for the summer, so the start is being pushed back to next weekend.

EVERETT LINTZ SIGNS WITH JMAG MOTORSPORTS
Everett Lintz and Lintz Motorsports announced today that he has joined JMAG Motorsports (JBlanford74) for the 2018 SRD National Series. Lintz is venturing into his first full season in the NNS division after a dismal rookie season at the IndyCar Series schedule. Lintz will drive the #87 Camaro which was formally the #47 for JMAG in his rookie tour as he chases the Sunoco Rookie of the year.

Supporting Lintz and the newly renumbered JMAG Motorsports Camaro will be Crosley Brands and Louisiana Hot Sauce.

"Im excited to bring these brands into the SRD National Series and even more excited to join JMAG Motorsports for the 2018 Season. I cannot wait to see what we can do as a group," Lintz stated.

As Daytona (finally) approaches, series officials announced today that there will now be a caution thrown at the end of the stage. Last season the green flag would remain out and cars would keep racing at the end of the stage. This season the caution will be thrown just before the leader makes it to the start/finish line to complete the stage, and the order in which the cars take the caution at the start/finish line will determine the running order at the end of the stage.

Oh. It might also be wise to get flats and ratings in as soon as you can today. We may or may not be racing today ;)

Some final housekeeping stuff while I get everything set up for Daytona:

    MISSING FLATS
    #12 Trey Coleman - @TColeman12
    #26 Daniel Asher - @DanAsher26
    #43 Josh Hawkins - @Evolution9
    #91 R.J. Bishop - @KnightHoarder (I don't have a username for R.J. Bishop)

    MISSING RATINGS
    #12 Trey Coleman - @TColeman12
    #18 Dakota Caudill - @KnightHoarder
    #43 Josh Hawkins - @Evolution9
Any driver that does not have ratings in will get the base 40-60 ratings, which would pretty obviously put you well off-pace.

    NOT RUNNING FOR POINTS
#00 John Hooper Sr. - Running for Cup points - @canadienhits
#9 Steven Merzlak - Running for Cup points - @crazyboy335
#12 Trey Coleman - Running for Cup points - @TColeman12
#15 Tim Kunkel - Running for Cup points - @Tim2488
#17 Brendon Hancock - Running for Cup points - @BrendonH12
#18 Dakota Caudill - Running for Cup points - @KnightHoarder
#20 Jakub Smetana - Running for Cup points - @Jakub Smetana
#43 Josh Hawkins - Running for Cup points - @Evolution9
#45 Connor Root - Running for Cup points - @frow78
#60 Darren Ingram - Running for Cup points - @Darren Ingram
#60 Bobby Farrell - Running for Cup points - @Dodgeman4345
#62 Jacob Craigo - Running for Cup points - @jacobc62
#74 Jason Blanford - Running for Cup points - @JBlanford74
#93 Tyler Mallon - Running for Cup points - @NascarMan32
    #99 D.J. Harris - Running for Cup points - @Tetronix

    RUNNING FOR ROTY
    #2 Dewey Schramm - @Junebugrocks88
    #11 Matt Wichelman - @MWick4
    #30 Alvaro Torres - @at01
    #32 John Rodriguez - @at01
    #34 Johnny Gloria - @at01
    #51 Matthew Steelman - @dalejr88rox
    #67 Joey Foster - @Wacky Racers
    #86 Hustin Jawkins - @Hustin Jawkins
    #87 Everett Lintz - @thedude1987
    #91 R.J. Bishop - @KnightHoarder (again, don't have a username for R.J. Bishop)

Please ensure that all of this information is correct. I don't want to be 3 and 4 races into the season making changes to who should/shouldn't be running for points and ROTY.
