    V2E Motorsports Restructuring, Potential Rebranding

In a statement today, V2E owner Sean English announced a few key points regarding the upcoming season for V2E.
"Last season was rough for us as a team, and as a result, a few changes will be taking place. First, I would like to announce that V2E and driver Will Anderson have parted ways mutually. Anderson requested departure after receiving an offer to run for a new team next season, and I appreciate him discussing it with us before it was made public. We appreciate his time with us, and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. Second, I would like to announce that I will be returning to the driver's seat for V2E in the #6. We don't have a schedule yet, but that will be determined at a later date. Initially I stepped back from the Cup seat last season to take a break, but ended up running part-time for KM last season, and we had some great runs. I feel like returning to the driver seat from my own team will help all of us grow as an organization. Third, we would like to announce the potential for rebranding the team name from V2E. A new name has not yet been decided, but a return to "English Motorsports" is possible. We're looking forward to the upcoming season and can't wait to get it started."

There has been no news yet on whether or not @Dodgeman4345 or @ahspencer01 will be returning for the upcoming season.

    Bleskachek Motorsports returning for 2019

With plenty of retirements and restructuring heading into the 2019 SRD season, there's one team that will look the same. Bleskachek Motorsports announced today that they'll be returning for the 2019 season with drivers Ryan Bleskachek and Tim Johnston. No official word on sponsorship yet. But sources close to the team say that both drivers are expected to sign with their primary sponsors, Samsung (Bleskachek) and Glenden Enterprises (Johnston).

    Caudill Returning to Xtreme Motorsports

Xtreme Motorsports and driver Dakota Caudill (@KnightHoarder ) have come to an agreement to keep the driver with the team for 2019. Team Owner Dan Busch said, "Dakota has been an important piece to the team and we are very glad to have him back for 2019." With this move that means Xtreme Motorsports will remain intact for yet another season which should bode well for the entire organization. Sponsor news will come at a later date.

Potential Hawkins Scheme is Leaked Online

It was announced fairly late last season that Joshua Hawkins would be making the switch from Opp Inc. for Craigo Racing Inc. during the off season between 2018 and 2019. In the same announcement, it was stated that Budweiser would follow Hawkins to CRI following the retirement of John Hooper Sr., and it was recently confirmed that the #11 would be following Joshua as well, keeping the sponsor/number combo intact for at least another season or two. Fans were speculating on what the scheme would look like, and they may have to not wait any longer as a potential candidate has appeared to been leaked on various sites across the racing community.

From the looks of it, Craigo Racing Inc. has indeed changed up the #11, but not to the extent some were expecting. The team have seem to take a more aggressive approach with the red/black combo as opposed to Hooper Sr.'s usual red/white. The #11 appears to be a similar (if not the same) font as Hooper Sr. used, but skewed to the right instead of to the left.

After reaching out to the team for further comment, the team representative stated that the scheme was "most likely not the finalized scheme", though the number will "most likely remain the same as it appears". One with a keen eye will notice the faded DEI-stylized stripes on the side of the car as well, to which the representative noted that it was "a nod to Hooper Sr., who utilized stripes on his cars that had DEI influence." As far as I was told, these stripes are to appear on Hawkins' Budweiser scheme only, and will not appear on his other scheme, nor will they appear on any of Craigo's schemes.

The above image seems to indicate that CRI has also moved away from Quaker State/Pennzoil and will switch to Valvoline starting in 2019. Craftsman Tools also makes an appearance on the scheme, though it is unknown if this has any significance towards CRI's sponsorship deals.

Hawkins isn't the first Opp Inc. driver to race for Craigo Racing Inc., as John Hooper Sr. drove for the team in the National Series in 2018.

    OPP “Inks” Anderson:

This afternoon in the lobby of OPP, Inc. it was announced that the team would be adding veteran driver Will Anderson to it’s 2019 SRD Cup Series lineup to take over one of the two seats voided by the retirement of John Hooper Sr and the team’s parting with Joshua Hawkins. Anderson is joining the team bringing sponsor Once Upon A Time in 2Fort over from V2E Motorsports as well as acquiring sponsorship from both Best Buy and Drakkor Noir.

“We’re very excited to have Will joining the team, he brings some solid experience from his playoff run in 2018 and I look forward to seeing how that translates to this season,” said team owner Matt Wichelman.

Anderson is expected to pilot the #01 Mustang for OPP this season. The team is still searching for at least one more driver but leaving open the possibility of running a four car operation in 2019. Any interested party is suggested to reach out to @MWick4 as soon as possible.

Greg Woodard reveals his three schemes.

Jack in the Box will run at all speedways 1 mile or larger and all road course races, Nikon will be run at Superspeedways, and Yoohoo will be run at short tracks and speedways shorter than 1 mile. The team and sponsors liked last years base scheme, it was agreed to recycle the base for two sponsors but Yoohoo made a specific request.

OPP, Inc. Double-Header Signing Lands Llamas; Wichelman Talks Hooper's Legacy:
After a short break this afternoon OPP, Inc. officials reconvened for a second announcement naming Cody Llamas the driver of the team’s third entry for 2019. Llamas, most recently driving for Asher Racing in 2018, joins the newly-signed Will Anderson as well as team owner Matt Wichelman in the OPP stable. Along with him Llamas brings sponsors Panthers and long-time sponsor CSX.

"Two announcements in one day, this is loads of fun. I'm really happy to have Cody coming aboard, with him and Will I believe we are really starting to build a veteran presence that should hopefully lead to a strong 2019," says Matt Wichelman.

Llamas has three career wins at SRD's premier level with a career best 10th place points finish coming in 2017.

"This team really looks a hell of a lot different now than we did just a few months ago at Homestead, new manufacturer, new drivers, new management. It means a lot knowing that John believed in me enough to feel comfortable passing this team down to me, without him theres no chance we're sitting here today. I'm so thankful that we still have him in a consulting role as well as heading up our Indycar program. He built this team from the ground up having a near immaculate career, he's a hall of famer in my book," Wichelman added speaking of recently retired team owner and driver John Hooper Sr.

Hooper finished his Cup Series career in February at Homestead with 6 career wins, 26 top fives, 47 top tens, and one series championship coming in 2015. Other than once in the series' inaugural season in 2011, Hooper never finished outside of the top ten in series points standings.

We got Cody Llamas and Will Anderson.....wow. I have to say I'm impressed with Matt's signing of those two excellent drivers. I think with that and moving to Ford, we should look good for the future. Matt is doing a great job.

Harris Finalizes 2019 Season for the #42 Team:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    --- (Monte Carlo, Monaco) ---
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DJ Harris has finally announced his sponsorship lineup for this upcoming season. With Konica Minolta leaving the newly renamed SuperTruck Series to focus on their sponsorship of the Harris Motorsports team, they've added a few more races this season. Snapchat departs from the role as a primary sponsor and will only be seen as a small associate sponsor, and Pepsi ups their sponsorship role from the 1-off race at Eldora to the secondary sponsor, and iRacing scales back on their sponsorship and will settle for the tertiary sponsorship position.

While paint schemes were not revealed yet, Harris hints that by roughly the end of the week they should be on display, as he leaves his residence in Monaco and flies back to HMS headquarters in New York City.

Craigo Unveils first scheme for 2019, Sponsor lineup announced

Or at least the first scheme should you not count the "leaked" one from earlier. So over the off-season, Craigo Racing Inc. has picked up a few new sponsors, and not just ones brought over from Opp Inc. by Joshua Hawkins.....

First off, and most shocking, is the team's switch from Quaker State, a long time partner of Craigo since even before his debut in the 2014 Indycar season, to Valvoline. The move retroactively doesn't come as much of a surprise, despite the shock, as in recent years Quaker State has been seen less and less on Craigo's cars, to the point where the motor oil has only been featured on Craigo's cars in the Cup Series as one-off sponsors for special events. It has yet to be made known why the team has switched oil brands.

Next, State Farm will be one of Craigo's primary sponsors during the 2019 season, replacing McDonald's. In fact, the scheme, which is a throwback to Kasey Kahne's 2006 #9 Dodge Dealers Dodge, has just been revealed today:

Circle K is expected to make a return as another of Craigo's primary sponsors, though no details on what the scheme will look like nor when it will be revealed has been made public knowledge yet.

When asked about a third sponsor, the team was more or less "hush-hush" about it, so either Craigo is hurting in the sponsorship department, or there is a third unknown sponsor to be revealed later on.

Xtreme Motorsports Driver Dakota Caudill unveils two paint schemes

Dakota Caudill, driver of the #7 Xtreme Motorsports Chevy Camaro for the 2019 season felt the timing was right to unveil two of his rides for the upcoming season. Monster Energy and Global Poker are just two of the sponsors that will adorn his #7 Chevrolet. Axalta is returning to the team but are still in the works on the paint scheme on the moment. Dakota did have a few words to say about his new sponsors:
"To have Monster Energy come aboard my #7 Camaro is huge because I've had a great standing with Monster for a while now and it felt right for them to take a role on my car for the season so they will be on the car the most out of my 3 sponsors. Also to add another new sponsor to my ride in Global Poker is great because I am always happy to welcome new sponsors not only to the sport but to Xtreme Motorsports. I have had the time of my life here at Xtreme Motorsports and honestly don't plan on leaving. So without further ado, here are two of my rides for the season."

Busy Day for Curtain, Bleskachek Motorsports, leads to two sponsorship unveilings.

Saturday was a busy day for Anthony Curtain. The day started off with a press conference at Virgin Records' headquarters in Los Angeles, where his partnership with Dr. Pepper and Virgin Records was announced, along with his new ride at Bleskachek Motorsports.

"I'm so excited that Dr. Pepper and Virgin Records teamed up to sponsor my car this year. It will be very exciting to be able to sport the colors of my favorite soft drink and the record label for one of my favorite bands for most of this season," stated Curtain.

The announcement followed with an unveiling of Curtain's maroon and black Camaro, along with paint schemes featuring releases by two of Virgin Records' artists Laren Gray and Bastille.

When asked when the paint schemes would run, Curtain stated that the two companies would be on the car for 10 races, and the maroon and black primary paint scheme would race the majority of it.

In regards to the other two paint schemes, Curtain said "you probably won't be seeing those hit the track at all this season, to be honest, since those releases were from 2018. Although, you might see something similar for a couple races when Bastille releases their new album, Doom Days."

Later that day, Curtain was found in Irvine, CA, at a press conference at Asics US headquarters.
"I'm so glad that Asics decided to continue our long-lasting partnership this season," Curtain stated, "We've got some new colors on this car this year, and I'm excited to be sporting them for 5 races this season."

    Bleskachek Motorsports inks Curtain

    Los Angeles, CA:
Bleskachek Motorsports has been busy this week. First signing PepsiCo to an extension and now signing Anthony Curtain to drive for the team. The news came out today at Virgin Records headquarters in Los Angeles, California where Curtain unveiled the new look to his #97 Camaro.

Bleskachek Motorsports is still winless as an organization but team owner Ryan Bleskachek feels optimistic about their chances in 2019 more so than in the past. "Obviously we always say that we feel like we can go up and compete and win races, but we definitely feel that more so than usual. Signing Anthony today a proven winner and championship contender is huge for the organization. We've improved so much over these last 2 seasons and I feel like with Anthony on the team it's only going to get stronger."

"Signing PepsiCo really helped make this happen because it allowed us to bring in Anthony's Sponsors. When I saw Anthony was going to be a free agent for 2019 I knew I wanted him to drive for the team. Anthony and I have both been so dominant on the road courses and now that we're teammates we can combine our talents, experience, notes, etc. and really make a lot of headlines this year."
