Huge, HUGE fight during the Chase, probably at Charlotte or Kansas. Blood will be drawn.

-Chase Elliott wins the Daytona 500.
-One race will only have 38 cars in it.
-Austin Dillon blows an oppurtunity in the closing laps to fail to win his first race.
    -Catchfence crash at Talladega.
-SHR struggles with the change to Ford.
-JTG Daughtery Racing has a great season with Allmendinger winning a road course race and having a top 3 at Martinsville.
-7 time goes through his usual summer drought and never gets out of it during the chase.
-Another year and yet another boring and low attended Brickyard 400.
-Roush has Ricky Stenhouse make the chase.
    -Chevrolet wins the manufacture title.
-Larson dominates homestead and wins the title
-Kahne is released by Hendrick after another underperforming season.
-Rick Allen will be replaced by Allen Bestwick after season's end. (I can only wish)

    Final 4:
Kevin Harvick, Ky. Busch, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson

    Champion:
    Kyle Larson

If I'm right, then the Charter teams must get a car to the start at every race. If they don't they loser ther Charter. So there will be 36+ guaranteed.

    The dream indeed

    CUP:
    Larson wins 4 races
Harvick is the only SHR driver to win a race
    Bayne wins a plate race
Final 4: Larson, Ky. Busch, Harvick, Keselowski. Harvick wins it all.

    XFINITY:

Cup drivers still win over half the races
Suarez, Sadler, Byron & Hemric are the only regulars to win non-road races
Final 4: see above. Suarez repeats

    TRUCKS:

Christopher Bell goes winless (probably more hope than anything)
Final 4: Crafton, Sauter, Peters, Nemechek. Crafton wins

My prediction for the 2017 Season is that the Monster Energy Cup Series will not have a full 40 car grid for the entire series, the most in a race will be 38. I hope this isn't true

I think McMurray will be in Xfinty after 2017. As much as i like the guy he does not seem to
be aggressive enough for cup. That said i would love to see him win a couple of race's and prove me wrong.

He did make the Chase last year without winning a race... You're right about him not being aggressive enough, but he's still got some left in the tank.

    Hi MrDude68.
I have been a fan of Jamie from when he substituted for Sterling Marlin.
I really want him to win a race, or 2 this year and make the chase with wins.
he does have more in the tank as you say,but will Ganassi put up with him,
if Larson starts to win more and their younger talent available, for 2018.

SHR does better than everyone expected in their transition to Ford with Harvick, Busch, and Bowyer winning races while Danica improves.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. comes back and is slow to start the season, only to heathe up mid season but failed to continue it in the chase.
Erik Jones will surprise some and win a race or two.
Rico Abreu will win Eldora in July.
JRM and JGR will continue to dominate the Xfinity Series.
Christopher Bell wins Camping World Truck Series Championship this season.

    My first bold prediction:
    Carl Edwards will retire.......oh wait!

Dale Jr. wins the Daytona 500 in his comeback race now that he is rested and mentally sharp.
Chase Elliott will win at least 2 races to many good runs last year to overlook.
There will be more than 16 winners.
Toyota take a small step back with the new body, will still win races (they have great drivers and teams but will not be as dominate).
HMS will get 3 of their four drivers in the chase (Kahne misses and loses his ride in 2018 to Alex Bowman)
JGR will get 3 of 4 in the chase. FRR will get 2 in. RCR will get 2 in. Larson in. One Roush Fenway driver. 2 Penske. 2 from SHR.

HMS vs. JGR at Homestead! 2 drivers from each, Johnson and Jr. vs. Kyle and Matt.
Jr. wins the race on the high side and the Championship. Then in the off-season announces 2019 will be his last season and he will be replaced by William Byron.

You get credit from me for being partially right about someone announcing retirement without notice...

Huh, what'd be weirder is if Edwards comes back and drives the #5 in a couple years haha.

I've had a lot of accurate dreams in the past...it's actually getting to be kind of weird haha. Coincidence city

Jamie just needs better luck. He basically had round 1 in the bag with 10 to go at loudon. A freak caution comes out with him running like p6, everyone pits, he ends up outside the top 15.

-Jr. 'wins' the 'championship' and immediately retires.
-Heat races/shorter races implemented, mild success
-NASCAR continues to lose fans, some cup races only fill to 1/2 capacity
-McDowell and Buescher run very well in their RCR-affiliate equiptment

I'll look for another big-name driver to immediately step out after next season possibly Kevin Harvick I would guess...I think what Carl did will make a lightbulb come on for one of those other guys. I also say McMurray will be out along with Dale Jr.
